Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate combines strong delivery discipline, technical acumen and hands-on experience with regional payment rails, regulatory environments, and multi-country integration programs. The role will partner closely with Technology & Operations, Architecture, Infrastructure, Information Security, Testing, Product Management, Operations and In-country stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and high-quality payment processing solutions.
Reporting to the Lead Technical Delivery Manager, this role is responsible for successful delivery of assigned projects, coordinating across applications:
Project Delivery Management
• Own end-to-end technical delivery of assigned domestic and cross border payment projects across ASEAN.
• Coordinate across different application and platform teams to manage interdependencies and ensure seamless delivery of end-to-end solutions.
• Identify, track and mitigate delivery risks, issues and technical challenges.
• Provide accurate, timely delivery updates to project and program stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Partner with Domain Architects, Development Managers, System Analysts and Business Analysts to ensure timely completion of deliverables and artefacts throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Partner with Test Manager to ensure complete and high-quality execution of SIT, UAT, non-functional testing, application roll-back testing and security testing.
• Partner with Development and Information Security teams to facilitate completion of penetration testing and remediation of findings in accordance with the mitigation plan.
• Partner with Application and Infrastructure teams to ensure readiness of compute, network and environment components required for testing and deployment.
Implementation and Release Management
• Maintain a comprehensive technical implementation plan covering all applications.
• Coordinate implementation, production cutover and post-implementation support to ensure system stability and successful transition to operations and production support.
Compliance to standards, policies and procedures
• Enforce technical delivery standards in line with the bank’s System Development Methodology, organizational policies, procedures, best practices and industry regulations.
• Use bank-approved AI tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 10 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
Essential:
• Technical delivery experience with a strong focus on payments and financial services.
• Proven track record in delivering domestic and cross border payment solutions in ASEAN.
• Experience partnering with system analysts and architecture, development, testing, and infrastructure teams.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Proven results-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and solutioning skills.
• Ability to work with remotely located development and test teams
Key Domain/ Technical Skills:
• Technical Delivery Management
• Good understanding of CBPR+ payment framework, ISO 20022 standards, SWIFT messaging, real-time payments, settlement processes and clearing systems.
• Knowledge of regional regulatory requirements, compliance considerations and operational practices in ASEAN.
