The Role

We are seeking an Investment Risk Manager for a leading Asset Management firm in SG. They are a multi asset business as this is a new hire due to their expansion plans. Reporting up to the Head of Risk, you will be building the Risk function within the firm, and will also be working closely with multiple stakeholders in the firm.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess portfolio risk exposures across multiple asset classes (equities, rates, credit, FX, commodities, alternatives)

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee fund finance and corporate accounting for the firm

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Research grant financial management. Monitor grant expenditures & allowable costs, review and track fund utilisation, work closely with research project managers & PIs to ensure timely invoicing/claim submission and follow up on grant claim receipt, etc.

Qualifications

This Finance Manager offers the opportunity to lead the financial operations of a multi-entity ed-tech group, driving disciplined reporting and strategic growth. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape financial controls and support sustainable expansion.

Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Reporting

• Maintain and oversee the full set of accounts for all entities (currently 10 companies), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper intercompany alignment

• Perform timely monthly financial closing by the 10th working day of the following month to support management reporting timelines

• Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow statements, to support strategic decision-making
