Job Summary

The role within the Private Banking COO Office supports the frontline business by strengthening first line of defence controls across suitability, conduct, and operational risk. The role is responsible for monitoring, surveillance, governance reporting, and control oversight to ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks. Working closely with Relationship Managers, Investment Advisors, Product, Operations, Compliance, and Risk, the role promotes strong conduct standards and fair client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance reviews across frontline activities (including voice logs and suitability assessments) to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and conduct standards.

• Identify, investigate, and escalate inappropriate, mis selling, or suspicious activities (e.g. cross border breaches, conduct risk, fraud indicators) through structured sampling and review methodologies.

• Perform trend and root cause analysis on exceptions to identify emerging risk themes and inform targeted remediation and frontline training.

• Act as Process Owner for assigned COO Office control domains (e.g. Cross Border, Pricing, Vulnerable Clients), overseeing end to end control frameworks, governance, and effectiveness.

• Partner with Suitability and Order Taking Process Owners, Compliance, and Product teams to implement new regulatory requirements and enhance or streamline existing controls.

• Review exception reports and alerts (e.g. missing documentation, guideline breaches, suitability mismatches), track issues to closure, and ensure timely remediation with appropriate documentation.

• Prepare and deliver management information and risk reporting for local and group governance forums, highlighting key risks, trends, and remediation actions.

• Support ad hoc reviews, regulatory inspections and enquiries and contribute to risk assessments, incident investigations, and thematic reviews.

Job Summary

Manage and delivery product objectives within the country for Securities Services across ASEAN countries in alignment with global objectives for the product line, including financial and non-financial performance, enhancement of capabilities, product and client access future strategies, and oversight of risk and governance in alignment with the Product Head for SS and regional Product Strategy.

Product Management and Development

• Directly responsible for articulating the product strategy and executing product initiatives on the annual operating plan in the country for the product in conjunction with the Country SS head and/or Regional Head of Product SS

Lead and drive the commercialisation of digital data products by working closely with Technology and Business stakeholders to develop data solutions that enable digital sales and actionable insights. Job Summary

Support the Head of GLRR Operations to ensure effective design, oversight & execution of the following key processes:

• Material Risk Takers (“MRTs”) related processes, including (but not limited to) MRT identification/communication processes, regulatory submissions and deferred compensation modelling/calculations.

• UK Certification Regime (“CR”) related processes, including (but not limited to) Fit & Proper Assessment processes for Certified Persons (“CPs”), regulatory notifications of CPs and Notified Non-Executive Directors (“NNEDs”), maintenance of CP & NNEDs Master Lists and CP Identification Framework; and

• Licensed & Regulated Roles (“LRR”) Operations related processes, including (but not limited to) maintenance of Global LRR Roles Register and regulatory registrations/de-registrations.

• Draft communication plans and templates related to MRT status notifications, including those to impacted individuals, their People Leaders and the Human Resources teams responsible for the provisional identification during the hiring process.

• Advise GLRR/CR/MRT Operations teams to ensure that their processes/controls and corresponding Desk Operating Instructions are fit-for-purpose to comply with the relevant MRT, CR and LRR requirements.

• Support the Head of GLRR Operations in overseeing offshore operations team, ensuring alignment with agreed SLAs and process. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, while maintaining clear communication and reporting regularly on progress, challenges and key outcomes.

• Provide practical advice on MRT processes and requirements to MRTs’ People Leaders and MRTs.

• Provide practical advice on certification processes and requirements to CPs’ People Leaders and CPs.

• On-going evaluation of the robustness of LRR, MRT and CR operations, hand-off with other teams and recommend areas for improvements where required.

Job Summary

This is a stress testing role that sits within Group FP&A. Stress testing is a comprehensive process that evaluates the capital adequacy and liquidity position of a bank under a severe but plausible stress scenario. This role would focus primarily at SCB Singapore entity, with need to get involved in other entities’ stress tests when required. Stress testing at SCB Singapore entity covers important regulatory exercises annually such as ICAAP, IWST, Recovery Plan Stress Test, Pillar 1 Stress tests, Climate Stress tests as well as adhoc management stress tests. The scope for this role is Wealth and Retail Banking (“WRB”) and the coverage is on credit risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Support WRB on Enterprise Stress Testing and scenario analysis

• Engagement with Product Heads and CRO team to review stress test results and provide advisory on the impact of stress for the respective products and WRB collectively

• Product coverage includes mortgage loans, credit cards, personal loans, business banking loans and wealth secured lending

• Drive credit risk projections on EAD, PD, LGD, ECL, LI and RWA

• Socialise results with stakeholders through a robust review and challenge process

• Analyse and present results for forums and committees.

• Support data providers on data quality issues and enhancement of data granularity

• Support model owner(s) on model life cycle activities (change management, development, testing, validation, monitoring, etc)

Risk Management

• Develop a keen awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model to support Stress Testing.

• Support the definition and roll out of enhanced stress testing operating model, governance and system solutions

• Maintain awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates

• Identify, within stress testing activities, operational risk issues and areas of non-compliance with internal or external regulations and requirements and propose solutions and escalate appropriately to ensure appropriate control framework is in place.

• Ensure adequate model risk governance is followed in adopting stress testing models. Assess fundamental assumptions underlying global models; assess whether model overlays are appropriate given business and regulatory contexts, and are appropriately applied into central stress testing platform

Governance

• Ensure regulatory stress testing governance requirements are fulfilled, particularly with respect to industry wide stress tests, ICAAP and Recovery Plan exercises.

• Interpret requirements, expectations, and observations from regulator in relation to stress testing exercises.

• Direct comprehensive analysis throughout the year to identify areas for improvement.

• Participate in and provide ongoing support to audit and regulatory reviews and inquiries in relation to Stress Testing.
