Description:

As Senior Manager / Assistant Director - Partnerships and Product, you are responsible for shaping BDH's product and services offerings. • Position Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
• Working Location: Kallang (walk distance from MRT)
• Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Variable Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all operational functions across multiple departments and training divisions.
• Design, develop, and introduce new high-value training courses and advanced certification programs.
• Manage a broad portfolio of courses, including WSQ framework and SkillsFuture/SSG-funded training programs.
• Lead the recruitment, training, and performance management of trainers across various disciplines.
• Maintain current accreditations and pursue additional certifications with regulatory bodies (MOM, WSH Council, SSG, NEA, IRCA, NEBOSH, SCDF, NRC).
• Ensure full compliance with SSG audit requirements and uphold quality standards across all training delivery processes.
• Promote operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
• Manage and strengthen partnerships with SkillsFuture Singapore, regulatory authorities, and industry partners.
• Support business development initiatives and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Work closely with regional teams to maximize the use of global resources and expertise.

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (Engineering or a related field).
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the education or training industry in senior operational leadership roles (COO, Director of Operations, VP Operations, etc.).
• Proven leadership experience managing operations across multiple departments and large trainer networks across diverse subject areas.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale operations (organizations with 50+ employees or revenue exceeding $10 million).
• Extensive operational knowledge across key areas including course development, training delivery, quality assurance, trainer management, and accreditation processes.
• Strong expertise in course development, with a proven track record in launching high-value and advanced certification programs.
• Strong understanding of accreditation requirements, regulatory compliance (e.g., SSG, MOM, and related bodies), and WSQ frameworks.
• Solid commercial awareness with a good understanding of the economics of training businesses.

This role is responsible to lead and manage a product development team, to ensure its alignment with our business goals, market needs and customer requirements. He/ She will provide the product vision, guide the team throughout each product lifecycle, overseeing product development and ensure product deployment to end user as a commercial success

Job Description:

Product Director with exceptional communication and people management skills to lead our product development team in defining the product roadmap and foster partnership and stakeholder management to grow the business.

Strategic Vision and Roadmap

- Defining the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives. ​

- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key features, design, and development steps. ​

Product Lifecycle Management

- Overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and planning to launch and beyond. ​

- Ensuring that products meet quality standards and customer expectations. ​

- Monitoring product performance and identifying areas for improvement. ​

People and Resource Management

- Mentor and manage a medium-scale product development team that consistently delivers on projects.

- Responsible for overall team performance and health, resource allocation, and project prioritization to achieve maximum outcome.

- Business Case Development and Budget Management

- Developing and presenting business cases to justify product investments. ​

- Managing product budgets and ensuring financial efficiency during product development. ​

Tech Watch

- Stay on top of product/industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.

- Market research, identify and develop partnership, stakeholder management

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, preferably with MBA or business related field background.

- 7-10 years of proven experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Strong understanding of market dynamics and product strategy.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Good to have background in agile product development or related skills

- Experience working on Mixed Reality environments ie VR, AR, MR

- Experience working on large scale, complex projects across multiple organization pillars

- Experience working with Machine Learning, AI or Large Language Models

- Experience working on driving related simulation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Management, Education, or related fields)
• Experience within education, international education services, or related professional services
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-function operations
• Strong capability in building systems, improving processes, and scaling organisations
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on leadership approach
