The Learning Experience

You'll be guided on writing captions, shooting content onsite, editing Reels, and spotting trends that shape how a real education brand shows up online. Every piece of content you create will be published, seen, and measured. You won't just be learning social media, you'll be doing it.

[Job Description]

Content Planning & Creation

• Assist in planning and managing a content calendar weekly across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Source and shoot content onsite - capturing real moments, student experiences, and behind-the-scenes centre life

Trend Spotting & Adaptation

• Actively monitor trends across Instagram and TikTok
• Identify what's gaining traction and adapt it creatively to fit our brand and audience
• Propose fresh content ideas regularly and bring them to the team for collaborative review

Content Creation & Copywriting

• Write engaging, on-brand captions and copy for posts across all three platforms
• Craft text hooks that stop the scroll and verbal hooks that hold attention in the first 3 seconds
• Learn the structure behind high-performing content - what makes someone watch, read, and take action
• Shoot content onsite - capturing student moments, experiments, and centre life
• Edit short-form video content for Reels and TikTok using basic editing tools

Community Engagement

• Respond to comments and DMs in a warm, professional, and timely manner
• Build genuine connections with our online community - not just broadcasting, but conversing
• Spot opportunities to turn followers into enquiries and enquiries into trial bookings

Must-Haves:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, or a related field
• You're an active social media user who pays attention to what works and why
• You can write naturally and engagingly in English - captions that feel real, not robotic
• You're curious, proactive, and not afraid to pitch ideas
• Organised and reliable - you follow through on deadlines and communicate when things shift
• Comfortable being onsite for content shooting when needed

Nice-to-Haves:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fully support research and brainstorming for existing projects and new business pitches,including competitor analysis, market landscape analysis, communication opportunities, tagline ideation, and IP/media/KOL suggestions.
• Assist in writing and distributing PR documents, including press releases, pitch letters, backgrounders, fact sheets, product review playbooks, speaker bios, newsletters, reports, and other communication materials.
• Create and maintain media/influencer lists for specific overseas markets (mainly in Southeast Asia), using influencer tools and leveraging relationships shared by team.
• Reach out and handle media / influencer inquiries based on projects, can proactively identify media/influencer opportunities in the target market when needed.
• Monitor media and social key data points via Meltwater and other tools, to identify and summarize trends or key coverage that affects the client’s business.
• Develop an understanding of the client’s business and conduct basic industry and market research to maintain a current knowledge base.
• Coordinate specific events and promotions for the client under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Assist in vendor / partner management relating to client business and ensure the quality of delivery under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Assist in account administration duties such as billing, shipping and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree and/or post-graduate degree in Public Relations / Media / Journalism / Communication / Marketing / English or equivalent;
• Strong passion and basic knowledge in Communication and Public Relations is a must.
• Interest in consumer technology / gadgets / automobile / EV is a plus.
• Self-motivated, solution-driven, open-minded, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Language skills: Proficient in English, fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Able to communicate and collaborate daily with overseas foreign colleagues and other stakeholders (e.g. media & KOL) via email and necessary tools (e.g. WhatsApp, LINE, etc.)
• Excellent content development skills, especially writing. Design/ video editing is a plus.
