Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary due diligence reviews to support deal teams on prospective transactions.
• Collaborate with deal teams to understand requirements and resolve issues arising during the document procurement process.
• Prepare and analyze ownership, transaction, and funds flow structures based on client-provided documentation.
• Review KYC documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

• Provide risk assessments, recommend mitigations, and ensure accurate data entry into eKYC systems, including independent validation of client documents.
• Prepare exception handling and risk assessment memoranda for trigger events, adverse findings, and new facility applications from existing clients.
• Draft preliminary assessment memoranda for cases involving deferred KYC completion in advisory transactions.
• Conduct periodic and trigger-based KYC reviews within defined timelines while minimizing rework.
• Review AML alerts escalated to the team and ensure timely investigation and closure.
• Support additional AML/KYC-related tasks, reporting, and project initiatives as required.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4–7 years of relevant experience in corporate or project finance KYC.
• Candidates with comparatively less experience may be considered for a senior analyst position.
• Professional certifications in AML/KYC are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to KYC/AML (e.g., MAS Notice 626 or equivalent frameworks).
• High attention to detail with a proactive and well-organized approach to work.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years relevant business analyst experience with Payment systems and Core Banking applications.

Functional:

• Good knowledge in Payment area like interaction with Clearing, payment file format ISO20022, SEPA Products (SCT, SDD and Instant SCT) and SWIFT (Cross Border Payments).
• Hands-on experience with such data mapping and testing.
• Hands on experience on payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, Automated clearing house programs and channels.
• Extensive knowledge on various kinds of payment products such as TT, RTGS, LVP, Payroll, Cheque, DD, Cashier Order, Mass & Bulk payments.
• Good knowledge of reporting products like Intraday/End of period accounting statements - (CAMT53, CAMT54, MT942 & MT940 formats), Debit and Credit advises – (CAMT52, MT900 & MT910- formats) and Payment status reports – (XML Pain.02 format).
• Proficient in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional & System Integration testing of banking and financial applications.
• Experience in following areas is a plus: Retail Banking, Wholesale & Corporate Banking, Corporate commercial Payments, International & Domestic Payments, Payment Hub/Factory, Correspondent Banking, ACH, Real Time Payments, Cash & Liquidity Management, Compliance/AML, FX, Messaging (Swift and ISO) & Trade Finance.
