• Support platform upgrades, hotfixes, and patching (EBFs) in accordance with change management processes.

2. User & Project Onboarding / Offboarding

• Execute user onboarding and offboarding activities across Informatica platforms (user accounts, groups, roles, privileges, folder-level permissions).

• Support project and environment onboarding, including setup of folders, repositories, connections, workflows, and deployment groups.

• Ensure access provisioning follows least-privilege and security policies across Informatica domain, repository, and application tiers.

• Maintain accurate access and entitlement records for all Informatica platform users and service accounts.

3. Service Requests (SR) & Change Requests (CR)

• Handle Service Requests (SRs) such as access requests, connection configuration changes, workflow scheduling adjustments, and operational queries.

• Support Change Requests (CRs) including platform configuration changes, workflow tuning, session/mapping performance optimization, patching, and controlled enhancements.

• Participate in impact assessments, implementation planning, and post-change validation for Informatica platform changes.

• Ensure changes follow agreed ITSM, governance, and approval workflows.

4. Platform Maintenance & Housekeeping

• Perform regular platform housekeeping activities (repository log management, session/workflow log cleanup, storage management, license usage checks, certificate renewals where applicable).

• Support backup and restore procedures for Informatica repositories, metadata, and platform configurations, and assist with DR readiness activities.

• Maintain platform configuration documentation and operational runbooks for Informatica environments.

• Assist in audits, compliance checks, and evidence collection when required, including data lineage and metadata reporting.

5. Security, Compliance & Regulated Environments

• Operate within air-gapped, on-premises environments with strict security and operational controls.

• Adhere to client security standards, SOPs, and access controls across Informatica domains, repositories, and connected data sources.

• Work closely with infrastructure, security, database, and governance teams to resolve operational issues.

• Ensure operational activities comply with client and regulatory requirements, including data handling and privacy obligations.

6. Consulting & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work as part of a multi-project consulting delivery team, supporting multiple Informatica platforms and clients.

• Communicate clearly with project managers, data architects, ETL developers, and client operations teams.

• Escalate risks, incidents, and operational concerns in a timely and structured manner.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and standards.

Required Experience & Skills
Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in platform administration, production support, or operations for Informatica data integration and/or data management platforms.

Hands-on experience supporting at least one or more of the following (or similar platforms):

• Data Integration: Informatica PowerCenter (domains, repositories, integration services, workflows).

• Cloud Integration: Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) / Cloud Data Integration.

• Data Quality: Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) — profiling, cleansing, standardization.

• Master Data: Informatica MDM (Hub, SIF, entity management, match/merge).

• Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases used as sources/targets.

• Infrastructure: Linux/Unix environments, scheduling tools (Autosys, Control-M), basic scripting.

(Experience working in on-premises and/or air-gapped environments is required)

Technical & Operational Skills

• Strong understanding of Informatica domain administration, user/group management, roles, privileges, and folder-level permissions.

• Familiarity with ITSM processes (incident, service request, change management).

• Experience with patching (EBFs), upgrades, and controlled changes in production Informatica environments.

• Ability to follow runbooks, SOPs, and operational checklists.

• Basic troubleshooting skills across Informatica services, workflows, sessions, database connectivity, and integration layers.
