Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities within target markets to drive growth
• Devise and execute strategic plans to expand business operations and increase revenue
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to support long-term success
• Lead negotiations for partnerships, acquisitions, and collaborations to secure beneficial agreements
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform business strategies
• Manage and guide a team of business development professionals to achieve organizational goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial Roadmap: Lead and architect the group’s business development strategy to hit aggressive expansion and revenue milestones.
• End-to-End Deal Ownership: Lead the entire lifecycle of high-value opportunities—from initial market sourcing and feasibility analysis to complex negotiations and final closure.
• Strategic Alliances: Build and cultivate a "Tier-1" network of corporate clients, institutional partners, and key industry stakeholders.
• Executive Advisory: Collaborate directly with senior leadership to shape growth priorities and develop data-backed business cases for new ventures.
• Operational Alignment: Work cross-functionally with internal delivery teams to ensure every partnership is feasible and executed to a premium standard.
• Performance Governance: Oversee the commercial pipeline, providing the board with accurate forecasting, market intelligence, and performance insights.

Requirements:

• Track Record: At least 5–8 years of experience in high-level Business Development, Partnerships, or Strategic Sales.
• Proven Results: A documented history of originating and closing significant commercial deals or large-scale institutional partnerships.
• Engagement: Exceptional ability to influence and manage relationships with C-suite and senior-level stakeholders.
• Agnostic Agility: Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you are expected to own outcomes from start to finish.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related commercial discipline.

Job Description:

• Proficient in manning call center hotlines and establishing prompt follow-up actions
• Establish good coordination on funeral arrangements
• Versatile with client meetings performed within office premises, on-site visits, and over virtual communication platforms
• Transfer the dearly departed to funeral homes
• Work closely with operations staff and Finance Team
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• To converse well in English and Chinese (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and Chinese monks)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good team player with good interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated, meticulous, and independent
• Possess class 3 driver's license
• Relevant industry experience is an advantage
• Comfortable working in the funeral industry
• Able to do shift work, and work on Public Holidays and Overtime
