Requirements

• Undertake invitations & RSVP management 
• Create and manage event communications plan for attendees/speakers/moderators
• Conduct briefings for moderators/speakers
• Overseeing operations & logistics in partnership with either the in-house team or outsourced vendors for a successful event
• Oversee the post-event process (eg: post mortem reviews, post session notes, thank you communications)

Client/Partnership Management:

• Attend meetings, liaise and manage clients/partners to complete project/partnership deliverables
• Support Business Dev team in the research or creation of pitch slides/decks

Content & Thought Leadership:

• Support the creation and development of thought leadership content in formats such as Podcasts, Post-session notes, LinkedIn posts, Web articles, Opinion Editorials and etc
• Undertake research on leadership/current affairs topics for thought leadership content

Skill Requirements

Experience/Academic Requirements

• Min. 2 years of working experience preferred
• Min. Graduated from a locally recognized Polytechnic or University
• Background in Media/Mass Communications/Digital Marketing is a bonus

The Working Expectations

This is a full-time remote role. The primary communication channels you will have with the team that is primarily Singapore based will be Email, Telegram and Zoom.

As part of the role requirements, you must adhere to the following:

• Be contactable & responsive on the communication channels especially between Monday - Friday; 9:00am & 6:00pm (GMT+8)
• Follows Singapore working calendar and gazetted Public Holiday
• Have an existing reliable internet connection and working equipment (laptop, PC)
• Be adept in using online tools/platforms like Telegram, WhatsApp, Zoom, Teams & Google Workspace
• Meet stipulated deadlines

Job scope:

• Improve company’s market position and achieve financial growth
• Meet and exceed objectives through the development of new businesses, coordination of Business Development shipments and existing business penetration
• Identify target customers, initiate own sales calls, pursue them and ultimately convert them into clients
• Working with Finance and Indoor Sales team on payment issues and follow up on payment with clients
• Build and maintain a pipeline of business
• General profit in line with set KPIs
• Prepare sales planning, and forecasting activities
• Sourcing of rates from carriers, hauliers, offices and worldwide agents
• Interact and maintain relationship with subcontractors like carriers, coleaders and trucking companies etc
• Maintain effective teamwork with members of the Indoor Sales, Business Development team and other functional teams
