Commercial Strategy Senior Manager
Your Role Accountabilities
Commercial Strategy/Business Development:
· Supporting the development and implementation of new partnerships with traditional players, non-video players and any other platforms/players within the media ecosystem
· Working closely with the local team to explore new opportunities with our traditional partners to achieve mid-long term strategic goals while maintaining revenue growth;
· Actively participating in building, negotiating and implementing the deal strategies in relation to the key projects; identifying potential targets for major commercial and/or equity partnerships; contributing creative and strategic thinking on projects and to challenge status-quo;
· Cultivating and maintaining excellent business relationships with the local teams in each hub;
· Building the foundations for a long term digital ad sales business in high potential ad sales markets; supporting the evaluation and implementation of effective monetization models for the digital inventory though in-house and/or representatives relationships;
· Evaluating and implementing maximum value through traditional and next-generation ad sales techniques; and/or such other duties as Company management may designate and require of you from time to time.
· Key Markets of Focus: India, SEA, Philippines, NZ while assisting on other markets when required: Japan, Australia, China
Strategic Initiatives, APAC
· Work closely with CFO& COO, APAC on organization – wide initiatives across cost optimization& growth projects
· Support APAC CEO, GMs and heads of BUs on planning, feasibility analysis and buy-in of implementation of initiatives/changes
· Act as a liaison/POC between regional teams and global counterparts for planning & execution of initiatives
Enterprise partnerships, APAC
· Actively participate in evaluating and identifying potential partners across APAC
· Build and maintain business relationships with potential/current partners
· Actively formulate and negotiate deals with partners while working across different stakeholders to get internal buy-in and implementation of the partnerships
Qualifications & Experience
· 10+ year experience in a professional services environment (strategy consulting) or business development, with a proven track record in developing strategy and executing business. Keen understanding of the media landscape, business models and telco/payTV eco systemin the priority markets
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
· Proven ability in team support, management, and leadership.
· Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to work across seniority levels and influence decision making
· Excellent multitasking capabilities and quick decision-making.
· Strong verbal and written skills with effective interpersonal and organizational abilities.
· Demonstrates professional behavior, good judgment, and reliability.
· Self-motivated, resourceful, and committed to complete tasks and projects.
· Trustworthy with sensitive information.
· Skilled in working independently as well as part of a team, ability to navigate ambiguity
· Capable of handling multiple tasks concurrently, resilient under pressure.
· Willingness to work across multiple time zones in APAC /Global as and when required
