Roles & Responsibilities :
· Collaborate with engineers, architects and the with the team to determine the specifications of the project.
· Responsible for preparing project start-up and execution plan, as well as to define key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and resources.
· Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
· Lead a team of technical staff in planning and execution of day-to-day operations to achieve all key project targets.
· Liaise with and manage Subcontractors to deliver their respective performance targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety.
· Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
· Supervise the work of laborers, and give them guidance when needed on Project base.
· Assist the Project Director in tendering proposals to secure new projects.
· Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
· Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Requirements and skills:-
- Degree in Building/ Civil or Electrical Engineering/ Construction Management or related.
- Proven experience as construction project manager.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- A team player with leadership abilities.
