3.      Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2 years of experience in equipment automation (ideally in semiconductor, solar, or electronics manufacturing).
• Working knowledge of equipment interface protocols (SECS/GEM OPC UA, Modbus, etc.).
• Hands-on experience diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware/software connectivity to equipment.

• More than 7 years of relevant experiences in semiconductor equipment design or troubleshooting experiences with at least 3 years of leadership experiences

• Subject-matter expertise with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis and/or Design for Excellence principles 

• Proficient in simulation and analysis methods (FEA, thermal analysis and tolerance analysis)

• Strong in the following fields: Thermal, Compressible flow, Engineering Design, Machining & manufacturing processes

• Ability to craft clear engineering documentation

Currently, we are looking for Application Support Specialist which would be based in Singapore

Requirements and Responsibilities:

·       Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant activities.

·       Monitor Production Systems: Continuously monitor the health and performance of production applications using monitoring tools and dashboards.

·       Incident Management: Respond to and resolve application incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations. Document incidents and their resolutions.

·       Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

·       Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve application issues.

·       Performance Tuning: Analyze application performance and implement tuning measures to optimize system performance.

·       Deployment Support: Assist in the deployment of new releases and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to production services.

·       Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application support procedures, incident resolutions, and system configurations.

·       User Support: Provide support to end-users and stakeholders, addressing their queries and issues related to production applications.

·       Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and reliability of application support.

·       Hands-on experience in application support or development in Python, SQL, Unix, Java, AWS, Datadog, CICD Pipelines, and Git.

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.

·       Agile, fast learner, and able to adapt to changes.

·       Experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation methodology and/or Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

Job Description

Role Responsibilities: 

• Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple products

• Utilize techniques, define methods, and apply new technologies to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on a high number of complex systems for multiple products

• Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and create process engineering specifications

• Develop, plan, and execute process engineering projects, within safety guidelines

• Train engineers in measurement techniques of film properties and guide them in the interpretation of the data, new methodologies, troubleshooting techniques and issue resolution

• Communicate and engage with customers to resolve a broad spectrum of complex process engineering issues, with limited supervision

• Design and implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation

• Identify, select, and partner with vendors and suppliers with limited to no supervision

• Lead functional teams or projects, as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• 7-10 years of related experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish

Certifications Required

• PMP Certification or equivalent is required. Certification in Product Lifecycle Management is a plus.
