• Identify new parts that require to be stocked by AGS and work with them to ensure parts are stocked in correct locations

We’re hiring a GPS Engineer to support new product design, introduction, and field readiness for our vacuum mainframe platform products in Singapore. The ability to understand vacuum systems, robotic, and semiconductor substrate handling, is a must. What You’ll Do

Quality, Reliability & Escalations

Training & Parts Readiness

Design Reviews

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related field preferred).

Technical Skills:

• Handle the full set of accounts, including general ledger, month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Adapt and implement company project methodologies, processes, documentation, tools and measurements in relation to project management
• Create project specifications, schedules as well as planning and securing of resource requirements
• Provide progress updates on assigned tasks for all projects in the weekly project meetings, as well as technical guidance on operating procedures and new projects
• Ensure that projects performed are in compliance with Company’s ISO quality standards and project management’s model
• Ensure all Service Requests and assigned projects’ tasks are completed as per agreed schedules
• Play an active supporting role in the development of project office within the customer’s environment to achieve defined functions and capabilities

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or its equivalent
• At least 10 years of related experience in IT Infrastructure System Integration (SI) industry, specifically in the Project Management of medium to large projects
• PMP certification or its equivalent is an advantage
• At least 7 years of experience in Systems Administration with an in-depth technical knowledge on Infrastructure and Network Support
• At least 3 years of IT outsourcing experience with proven ability to work in large groups and managing multiple projects
• Possess experience in managing RFP, RFQ and RFI
• Proven experience in strategic planning, risk and change management
• Knowledge of project management software tools and techniques is a must
• Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate the project team in project implementation and with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Effective influencing, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication skills and ability to interact with all levels

Project Overview

This project aims to develop a real-time blood analysis and diagnostic platform using an integrated microfluidic chip. This platform uses precision microfluidic technology to process and profile the biological activity of white blood cells which is related to a host of inflammatory conditions ranging from diabetes, sepsis to leukemia. The platform developed will enable point-of-care diagnosis of diseases and this project will accelerate the platform from bench to bedside through the development, deployment and testing of clinical samples.

This Engineering position offers a rare opportunity to bridge the gap between laboratory discovery of new technologies and real-world implementation of clinical deployment and testing. 

Responsibilities

The engineer is responsible for the design, prototype, manufacturing and testing of the medical device. This involves the use of with computer-aided design prototyping, setting specifications and assembly of mechnical/electrical components, testing and deployment of device for field testing.

Responsibilties include:

- To work closely with a team of clinical, mechanical/software engineers and data scientist for the medical device design and prototyping. Gather feedbacks on prototype designs by end-users.

- To Validate designs by analysing data gathered from component or system level testing. Use benchmarking techniques to characterise component and device performance.

- To ensure proper documentation of design history files and standardization of data storage for reports, presentations, technical and administrative documents.

- To source for vendors and components to ensure manufacturability and cost of medical device.

- To support the team for maintenance of equipment, inventory and purchases.

Requirements

- Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering with at least 1 years of experience in hardware prototyping and/or microfluidic operations.

- Rapid prototyping experience in areas such as 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, injection molding, microcontroller/microprocessor programming and relevant skills in embedded system.

- Prefered experience in commercial manufacturing, R&D project management and hardware testing/certification.

- Excellent debugging skills and strong ability to root cause, isolate and solve software/hardware system issues.

- Fluent in C++, Python (3.X) and relavent coding languages for software-hardware integration.

- A desire to deliver a quality and innovative medical diagnostic product that improves many people’s lives.

- Good communication and managing skills are important to work with colleagues efficiently in addition to creativity to solve problems and find improvements on products and processes already in place.

The Postdoctoral Research Associate - Data Scientist will lead the acquisition, preprocessing, analysis, and modelling of medical device-generated data, and will work closely with clinicians, scientists, and engineers to translate AI/machine learning models into working, deployable software for clinical testing and point-of-care use.

This role offers a rare opportunity to bridge clinical data science, medical device engineering, and translational research, moving from experimental and clinical sample data to robust AI-enabled diagnostic workflows and deployable prototypes.

Responsibilities

The Postdoctoral Research Associate - Data Scientist is responsible for developing end-to-end data and AI/ML workflows for the medical diagnostic platform, from device data acquisition and signal/data preprocessing to model optimisation, validation, software integration, and deployment.

Responsibilities include:

- Work closely with clinicians, scientists, software engineers, mechanical/electrical engineers, and data scientists to define clinical use cases, data requirements, model outputs, and deployment workflows for the medical device platform.

- Design and implement reliable data acquisition pipelines from medical device hardware, sensors, imaging or signal outputs, and associated experimental or clinical metadata.

- Develop preprocessing, quality-control, annotation, feature-engineering, and data-management workflows for noisy, multimodal, longitudinal, or time-series biomedical data.

- Analyse experimental and clinical sample data to characterise device and biological performance, identify artefacts, benchmark platform performance, and support evidence generation for translational studies.

- Develop, train, validate, and optimise machine learning, deep learning, statistical, or hybrid models for diagnostic, predictive, or decision-support tasks using appropriate metrics, cross-validation, robustness checks, and uncertainty analyses.

- Translate research models into reproducible and deployable software components, including model inference pipelines, APIs, dashboards, reports, or lightweight user interfaces for clinical and laboratory testing.

- Support software-hardware integration for data acquisition, model inference, device feedback, and prototype deployment; assist with basic UX refinement based on clinician and end-user feedback.

- Maintain high-quality documentation of datasets, code repositories, model versions, experimental protocols, validation results, data dictionaries, and technical reports.

- Prepare manuscripts, presentations, grant reports, and invention disclosures; contribute to literature reviews, patent/IP searches, and responsible research dissemination where relevant.

- Support clinical study workflows by coordinating with clinical collaborators and applying good data governance practices for sensitive clinical and experimental data.

Requirements

- Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Biology, or a related field. Candidates close to completion may be considered if the degree will be conferred before appointment.

- Demonstrated research experience in data science, machine learning, deep learning, signal/image processing, biomedical data analysis, time-series analysis, clinical AI, or related computational research.

- Strong programming skills in Python; experience with common scientific and ML frameworks such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow, Jupyter, and Git/GitHub.

- Experience with data acquisition, data cleaning, feature engineering, model optimisation, evaluation, reproducibility, version control, and scientific software development.

- Familiarity with clinical or biomedical datasets, medical device data, biosensor/microfluidic data, imaging data, physiological signals, or multimodal data integration is highly advantageous.

- Experience translating ML models into usable software prototypes, such as REST APIs, dashboards.

- Working knowledge of software-hardware interfacing, instrument-control software, serial/USB/Bluetooth communication, microcontrollers, embedded systems, or edge AI deployment would be advantageous.

- Ability to work closely with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to interpret findings, gather end-user feedback, define clinical workflow needs, and improve the usability of AI/ML outputs.

- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write scientific manuscripts, technical documentation, reports, research proposals, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong commitment to robust, ethical, and responsible AI/ML development, including attention to data privacy, model bias, interpretability, clinical validity, reproducibility, and safe deployment.
