SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Junior Accountant will be part of the regional finance hub based in Singapore, supporting multiple legal entities across the region. The role will focus on operational accounting activities, including accounts payable, employee expenses and bank reconciliations and basic accounts receivable processes in a service-based environment.
The position requires a strong operational accounting background and a solid understanding of balance sheet accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Success in this role will see the following achieved:
- Handle day-to-day finance operations, including payments, collections, and banking activities
- Manage accounts payable (AP), including processing invoices, ensuring timely vendor payments, and monitoring vendor balances
- Prepare and issue client invoices (AR) upon receipt of the required documentation and follow up on outstanding collections
- Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies where necessary
- Assist in preparing reports and supporting schedules for audit and tax filings
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

YOUR EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting operations or accounts payable
- Experience with bank reconciliations and balance sheet accounts
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency environments is advantageous
- Experience with SAP or similar accounting systems is a plus
- Familiarity with expense management platforms such as Expensify is beneficial
