Production Manager
Basic salary: $4500- $7000
Working days: 6 days a week
Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations in a window covering production facility. This role ensures efficient production planning, quality control, cost management, and on-time delivery while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within the window covering, textile, or light assembly industry.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets
Develop and implement production schedules based on sales forecasts and customer orders
Monitor production processes and adjust workflows to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications
Lead, supervise, and train production staff, including supervisors and operators
Manage manpower allocation, overtime planning, and shift scheduling
Oversee inventory usage, material planning, and coordination with procurement
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, 5S, etc.)
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies
Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Engineering, QA, Warehouse) to optimize operations
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, defect rates, and on-time delivery
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Experience in window covering, textiles, furniture, or similar industries preferred
Strong knowledge of production planning, workflow optimization, and quality control
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement practices
Good leadership and team management skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage
Good communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus)
