Junior Associate (Real
Estate)
We are seeking an Associate
with 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience to join our Real Estate
Team.
Our Real Estate team brings
decades of expertise to every property matter we handle: from straightforward
residential purchases to complex commercial developments. You will be part of a
dynamic practice that guides clients through the entire property lifecycle,
including acquisitions, financing, development, leasing, and sales.
This role offers the
opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters: from residential towers and
retail spaces to industrial developments, and to advise a wide range of
clients, from first-time homebuyers to seasoned developers.
Key Responsibilities
·
Manage and advise on property transactions
and conveyancing matters, including residential, commercial, and industrial
properties.
·
Draft, review, and negotiate sale and
purchase agreements, option to purchase documents, tenancy
agreements, and lease or licence agreements.
·
Assist in financing and mortgage
arrangements, including advising on loan documentation and liaising with
financial institutions.
·
Handle development and sale of properties
under construction, and advise developers on project-related issues.
·
Advise clients on stamp duty, ABSD
remission, and related tax planning matters.
·
Conduct title due diligence and
coordinate with relevant authorities (e.g. SLA, URA, BCA) on property and
regulatory matters.
·
Work closely with clients ranging from first-time
homebuyers to developers and corporate investors, ensuring timely
completion and smooth transaction management.
Preferred
qualifications:
· To
be/called to the Singapore Bar
· Strong
team player
· Hardworking
with a positive attitude towards learning and growing
· Fluent
in English (written and oral).
· 1 to 3
years PQE;
· Experience in real estate legal work
· A
positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work effectively both
independently and as part of a team.
