The Position:

An international professional services MNC is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within a lean finance team. Based in the Buona Vista area, this is a hybrid role with a 50/50 split between office and work-from-home arrangements.

In this hands-on role, you will take ownership of the full AP/AR cycle, including vendor invoices, staff expense claims, payment processing, customer billing, collections, and reconciliations. You will ensure accuracy in financial transactions, maintain proper documentation, and support month-end closing activities. The role also involves liaising with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients, while supporting compliance with GST and internal controls. Given the nature of the business, invoicing can be complex, requiring a high level of attention to detail and organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently in a structured yet dynamic environment.

Skills & Experience:

You should have at least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally gained within a small or mid-sized audit firm, or as an experienced AP/AR professional in a lean environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and confidence in handling financial data accurately. Strong communication skills are essential when liaising with stakeholders. Experience with accounting systems and strong Excel skills are expected. Mandarin language capability is advantageous to support regional communication but is not essential.

Job Summary

Manage accounts receivable processes including invoicing, reconciliation, aging monitoring, and collections to ensure accurate financial records and timely cash flow in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices and debit notes based on approved documentation and billing rules to ensure accurate billing.
• Verify invoices and billing information in compliance with company policies and finance procedures.
• Reconcile sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances to support effective collections.
• Perform receipt matching and reconciliation; investigate and resolve billing or collection disputes with relevant stakeholders.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing AR schedules, revenue reconciliations, and related reports.
• Maintain audit trails and ensure compliance with internal controls and Output GST requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations teams on contract terms, billing milestones, and credit control matters to align financial and operational processes.
• Post receipts and perform accounts receivable reconciliations; promptly investigate variances to ensure accurate cash application.
• Maintain customer master data and credit terms in the ERP system as assigned to support accurate billing and credit management.
• Execute ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors to support team objectives.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and experienced in ERP software such as MES, Yonyou, SAP, or Oracle.
• Strong bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Meticulous, proactive team player with a can-do attitude to meet job objectives and deadlines.

The Senior Development Lead - Investment (Vice President) is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
