Student Level: Grade 11 (IBDP Year 1)
Mode: Online (remote)
Teaching Frequency: 2 lessons per week
Lesson Duration: 1.5 hours per lesson
Class Schedule: Lesson days/timings will be confirmed with the client.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver structured online lessons for IBDP Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation
(HL), Grade 11, aligned with IB curriculum requirements.
• Build the student’s understanding of AI HL topics, including functions, statistics, probability, modelling, and calculus, with a strong focus on application and problem-solving.
• Strengthen the student’s conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and exam-answering skills through IB-style questions and guided practice.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning notes, assignments, and revision materials according to the student’s learning progress and academic needs.
• Provide timely feedback on student work and track progress consistently.
Key Requirements
• Proven teaching/tutoring experience in IBDP Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (HL), preferably for Grade 11 / IBDP Year 1 students.
• Strong understanding of the IB AI HL syllabus, assessment criteria, and examination approach.
• Prior teaching experience at CIS (Canadian International School) will be an advantage.
• Strong English communication and clear online delivery, with the ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking student.
• Responsible, organized, and able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.
