The Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L3/4) –System advanced engineering role, architecting level, responsible for ensuringa managed service is provided to all clients, to ensure that their ITinfrastructure and systems remain operational. About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a global Core Banking IT team supporting an international banking platform deployed across multiple regions. This role focuses on analysing business requirements and supporting the testing of payment systems, including integration with a global payments platform.

You will work closely with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure systems meet evolving business and regulatory needs.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, discussions, and stakeholder engagement
• Review and validate Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and translate them into functional specifications
• Collaborate with solution architects and technology teams to define and align on solutions
• Act as a liaison between business users, operations teams, and developers
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as BRDs, Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and related artefacts
• Support product documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications
• Identify risks, manage issues, and facilitate discussions across teams to ensure project progress

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Plan and execute testing activities across functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases
• Develop and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test libraries
• Review and validate test coverage for core banking and payment systems
• Collaborate with SIT and UAT teams to ensure alignment with business requirements
• Track, manage, and report defects using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and outcomes to stakeholders
• Support business users during UAT and ensure readiness for system releases
• Lead defect management and coordinate resolution across teams

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services
• Strong experience in payment systems and core banking applications
• Proven experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect management processes
• Hands-on experience in functional testing, system integration testing, and UAT
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Quality Center
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a collaborative environment

Domain Knowledge

• Good understanding of payment systems, including clearing and settlement processes
• Familiarity with ISO 20022 messaging standards, SEPA (SCT, SDD, Instant), and SWIFT payments
• Knowledge of payment products such as telegraphic transfers (TT), RTGS, payroll, bulk payments, and cheque processing
• Experience with reporting formats such as CAMT53/54, MT940/942, and related payment reporting standards
• Understanding of payment hubs, ACH systems, and real-time payment processing

Technical Skills

• Experience with testing methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with Cucumber for behaviour-driven testing
• Working knowledge of data and streaming technologies such as Kafka
• Exposure to tools such as Elasticsearch and Kibana for monitoring and analysis
• Basic understanding of graph databases (e.g. JanusGraph) is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in areas such as corporate banking, trade finance, liquidity management, or compliance (e.g. AML)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary due diligence reviews to support deal teams on prospective transactions.
• Collaborate with deal teams to understand requirements and resolve issues arising during the document procurement process.
• Prepare and analyze ownership, transaction, and funds flow structures based on client-provided documentation.
• Review KYC documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Perform due diligence checks using internal systems and external databases.
• Provide risk assessments, recommend mitigations, and ensure accurate data entry into eKYC systems, including independent validation of client documents.
• Prepare exception handling and risk assessment memoranda for trigger events, adverse findings, and new facility applications from existing clients.
• Draft preliminary assessment memoranda for cases involving deferred KYC completion in advisory transactions.
• Conduct periodic and trigger-based KYC reviews within defined timelines while minimizing rework.
• Review AML alerts escalated to the team and ensure timely investigation and closure.
• Support additional AML/KYC-related tasks, reporting, and project initiatives as required.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4–7 years of relevant experience in corporate or project finance KYC.
• Candidates with comparatively less experience may be considered for a senior analyst position.
• Professional certifications in AML/KYC are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to KYC/AML (e.g., MAS Notice 626 or equivalent frameworks).
• High attention to detail with a proactive and well-organized approach to work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online research tools.

• Oversight of Unit Linked and Life Insurance Investment accounting and reporting for Singapore Life Ltd.
• This role is the financial control role.

Key Responsibilities

1)       Financial Close

He/She is responsible for the financial close of all Investment-Linked Policy (ILP) funds. This includes the preparation of revaluation entries, trailer commission and management rebate accruals, audit fee accruals, and expense provisions from various sources.

He/She reconciles ILP assets and policy liabilities, investigates discrepancies, and resolves issues within the assigned timelines.

He/She issues trailer commission billings and management rebate invoices, and prepares accounts receivable schedules.

2)       Investment reporting

He/She is responsible for adhoc, monthly, quarterly and annual investment reporting to internal stakeholders, MAS and other regulators. Investment reports include but not limited to MAS Notice 122, MAS Notice 129, MAS Notice 133, statistics, dashboards, ESG disclosure, credit rating disclosure and investment commentaries.  

3)     Documentation of key process and controls

He/She will update key processes and controls on a quarterly basis by proactively identifying workflow improvements to minimise control weaknesses, enhance efficiency, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of fund accounting.

During inspections or reviews, he/she will act as a key support member for ILP matters, assisting internal auditors and/or the second line of defence.

4)     Audit

He/She will assist his/her reporting line for external and internal audit in relation to ILP.

5)     Adhoc tasks

To participate in ad-hoc assignments or role rotation within Investment Accounting, Fund Operations and Cash Management team.
