PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The H2E / Payroll Lead owns the end-to-end delivery of SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management within a strategic lift-and-shift migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
The role combines deep functional expertise in Singapore statutory payroll with strong integration design skills across SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and the Payroll-to-FI/CO posting interface.
The incumbent leads workshops, drives future-state platform decisions, and guides the onshore/offshore delivery team through parallel runs, data migration, cutover, and hyper-care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. SAP HCM Payroll & Time Migration (ECC → S/4HANA)
• Lead the lift-and-shift of SAP HCM Payroll and Time Evaluation from ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring functional parity and statutory compliance throughout.
• Own Time Management design end-to-end: schemas, work schedules, absence/attendance quotas, overtime rules, and allowance configuration.
• Validate and remediate payroll schemas, PCRs, and wage-type configurations for S/4HANA compatibility.
• Execute parallel payroll runs and reconcile results, identifying and resolving variances before go-live cutover.
2. Singapore Statutory Payroll
• Deliver full Singapore statutory payroll compliance: CPF (employee & employer contributions), IRAS (IR8A / IR21 / AIS submissions), SDL, and SHG fund deductions.
• Ensure year-end tax reporting and government submission processes are accurately configured and tested in S/4HANA.
• Stay current on MOM, CPF Board, and IRAS regulatory changes and advise the client on configuration impact.
3. SuccessFactors EC ↔ S/4HANA HCM Integration
• Design and govern the SuccessFactors Employee Central to S/4HANA HCM integration: data flows, replication rules, field mapping, and error handling.
• Align the integration blueprint with the client’s future-state HR platform direction and ensure the design supports both interim and target-state architectures.
• Define and test the Payroll-to-FI/CO posting interface, covering cost centre allocation, GL mapping, and reconciliation controls.
4. H2E Workshops & Future-State Advisory
• Lead and facilitate Hire-to-Exit (H2E) process design workshops with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders.
• Provide structured advisory on the future-state unified HR platform direction: S/4HANA HCM on-premise vs. SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), covering TCO, roadmap alignment, and risk.
• Produce high-quality functional specification documents, configuration workbooks, and decision logs.
5. Team Leadership, Migration & Hyper-Care
• Lead and coordinate the onshore/offshore payroll and time team throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Own the data migration strategy for HR/payroll master data: extraction, cleansing, transformation, and load validation.
• Drive cutover planning and execution, managing interdependencies with Finance, IT Basis, and business operations.
• Manage hyper-care support post go-live, triaging payroll issues, monitoring first live payroll runs, and ensuring rapid stabilisation.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1. Mandatory Requirements
• 12–15 years of overall SAP HCM / HR Technology experience.
• 8+ years of specialist experience in SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management, with hands-on configuration depth.
• Singapore payroll expertise is mandatory: CPF, IRAS, SDL, SHG, and statutory reporting.
• 2+ years of SuccessFactors Employee Central integration experience (EC to SAP HCM or ECP).
• Minimum 2 full end-to-end payroll implementations or migrations (ECC or S/4HANA) as functional lead.
2. Technical & Functional Skills
• SAP Payroll: schema configuration, PCR writing, wage-type design, retroactive accounting, off-cycle payroll.

• Experience in Southeast Asia multi-country payroll projects (MY, TH, PH, ID) is advantageous.
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) implementation.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA HR architectural decisions: sidecar vs. co-deployment.
