Job Description:

As an Embodied AI Engineer, you will develop next‑generation robotic intelligence that tightly integrates AI‑driven perception, planning, and behaviour with real‑world robot embodiment. You will contribute to both research-driven and deployment-driven development across ROS 2, advanced simulation environments, and industrial robotic platforms.You will support applied R&D to develop, implement, and test robot learning algorithms that integrate motion planning, force/torque sensing, and multimodal perception. The role includes hands-on work in designing experiments, analysing results, building prototypes, and contributing to practical robotics solutions for advanced manufacturing. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (researchers, engineers, and industry partners) to bridge research with impactful industrial deployments in areas such as remanufacturing, automation, and smart manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Support applied R&D in robotic manipulation, focusing on robotics technologies for advanced manufacturing.
Assist in designing and conducting experiments to collect, process, and analyse experiment data.
Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to improve robot control, adaptability, and decision-making in real-world scenarios.
Contribute to developing and testing functional prototypes and ROS-based robotics solutions for manufacturing applications.
Participate in the development and enhancement of ROS-Industrial capabilities for manipulation and embodied intelligence.
Support integration of perception tools (e.g., vision, force/torque) to enable better object handling and environmental interaction.
Stay updated with emerging robotics and AI methodologies, and assist in implementing state-of-the-art approaches to boost performance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware/software engineers and researchers, to meet project milestones.
Support technical discussions, documentation, and engagement with industry stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor or Master degree (fresh/recent graduates welcome) in Robotics, Computer Science,Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience
Strong foundational knowledge in robotics fundamentals, including kinematics, dynamics, motion planning, and control.
Interest or exposure to robot learning, Learning from Demonstration, imitation learning, reinforcement learning, or Embodied AI concepts.
Proficiency in programming, especially Python and/or C++
Hands-on experience or strong interest in ROS/ROS2, simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, Isaac Sim), and robotic hardware platforms.
Basic familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow is advantageous.
Understanding of sensors (vision, force/torque) and perception techniques is a plus.
Experience or interest in industrial automation, manufacturing environments, or contact-rich manipulation is highly desirable.
Good communication skills for teamwork, documentation, and presenting ideas/findings.
Passion for robotics, strong problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn and tackle real-world technical challenges in a collaborative, innovative environment

Job Description:

As a Senior Development Engineer, you will be a key senior resource in a team, actively contributing to and leading the development of robotics software solutions for industrial applications (manufacturing/logistics). You will focus on developing multi-system management and orchestration capabilities for multi-robot and multi-device systems, particularly using the Robotics Middleware Framework (RMF). This role involves leading aspects of project execution, proactive contribution to new capability development, and continuous learning.

Roles and Responsibilities:

actively contribute to and lead specific areas of research and development for robotic software packages and tools for industrial applications using the ROS framework, including capabilities in Robotics Middleware Framework (RMF) multi-agent path planning, simulator design, perception, and motion planning. Drive application-oriented robotic research towards industrial automation using ROS 2.
Contribute significantly to the architecture and lead the development of complex software solutions and core algorithms for interoperable multi-agent and multi-robot systems, focusing on coordination, scheduling optimisation, task assignment, and traffic deconfliction.
Contribute to and lead the implementation of robust systems engineering approaches by translating business requirements into system requirements and validation methodologies, and develop comprehensive software testing and validation strategies in accordance with industry standards.
Lead specific aspects of project scoping, planning, and execution for technical projects, and actively contribute to overall project delivery, including overseeing technical documentation, write-ups, and presentations.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Robotics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience (or equivalent demonstrated experience).
Mastery in C++ and Python programming.
Extensive experience and expertise in software development principles and practices.
Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Extensive experience with ROS2 and its ecosystem.
Mastery with Git version control.
Deep knowledge of robotics concepts including manipulation, navigation, fleet management, and/or simulation.
Extensive experience with complex software systems integration, including architecture and communication protocols.
Extensive experience with networked systems design and implementation.
Experience deploying multiple software or robotics systems to production environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives or projects within a team context.

Desired Skills & Experience:

Experience applying or researching mobile robot, fleet management and AI technologies in robotics.
Proven experience managing stakeholders from requirements gathering to deployment.
Web development experience (e.g., using common frameworks).
Experience with specific robotics algorithms (e.g., scheduling optimisation, task assignment, traffic deconfliction).
Experience developing software solutions using ROS libraries.
