• Preparation and maintaining accounts for the portfolio of clients which includes monthly/quarterly/yearly bookkeeping, MAS reporting, GST reporting in compliance with the client’s policies and statutory requirements
• Preparation of clients' deliverables (i.e. Management accounts, reporting packages, schedules, GST registration, MAS and GST Returns, consolidation, and drafting of year-end SFRS financial statements with Director's Report)
• Assist clients with any accounting, payroll, MAS and GST related issues
• Supervises and reviews work of assistants (where applicable).
• Prepares withholding tax reports & statutory forms and ensure timely & accurate submission to local tax authorities.
• Maintenance of tax records and preparation of tax returns and related reports to ensure compliance with the Singapore tax regulations.
• Liaises with both external and internal auditors to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements, accounting standards and Client’s internal controls policies & procedures.
• Any other ad hoc duties as required by the department

Qualifications & Experiences

• Degree in Accounting/Finance, ACCA or CA Singapore or equivalent
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a professional accounting or corporate services firm preferred
• Familiar with SFRS and Singapore tax regulations (Both direct and indirect taxes)
• Experience with fund companies account preferred
• Experience with Million / Xero software will be advantageous
• Meticulous, attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with client/colleagues

1) Accounts Payable (AP)

• Process and record suppliers’ invoices accurately and on a timely basis
• Reconcile invoices against suppliers’ Statements of Account (SOA)
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies
• Record payments in the accounting system and maintain proper documentation and filing

2) Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prepare and record invoices in the accounting system
• Scan and send invoices, together with supporting documents to customers
• Verify completeness of supporting documents and ensure proper filing
• Record incoming payments accurately
• Prepare and issue Statements of Account (SOA) to customers and follow up on outstanding balances
• Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner

3) Expense Processing

• Assist in processing staff expense claims, including data entry and verification

4) Audit & Compliance Support

• Assist in the preparation of documents and schedules for annual audits
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records in compliance with internal policies

5) Inventory Support

• Assist in stock take and cycle counts where required
• Assist to retrieve documentation for stock valuation purposes

6) Data Maintenance

• Maintain and update customer and vendor master data in the accounting system

7)Documentation & Filing

• Ensure proper, accurate, and systematic filing of accounting and supporting documents

8) General Support

• Provide administrative and operational support to the finance team

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards,tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records,managing payroll, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely submissionof GST and other regulatory filings via relevant government portals.

KeyResponsibilities

1. Bookkeeping & Financial Records

• Maintain full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

2. Payroll Administration

• Process monthly payroll in compliance with Singapore employment laws
• Ensure accurate computation of salaries, CPF contributions, and statutory deductions
• Handle IR8A preparation and submission
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality

3. GST & Regulatory Compliance

• Prepare and submit GST returns (F5/F7) via IRAS myTax Portal
• Ensure compliance with Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations in Singapore
• Assist with corporate tax filings and liaise with external tax agents if required
• Keep up to date with changes in Singapore tax laws and accounting regulations

4. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets

• Support year-end closing and audit processes

5. Administrative & Other Duties

• Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities

• Provide administrative and accounts support to Seniors, including reconciliation of sales and purchase invoices against accounting software, credit card platforms, and bank statements
• Prepare payment advice and supporting documents as requested by clients
• Assist in preparing and issuing sales invoices using Xero/ Quickbooks accounting software
• Follow up on trade receivables and outstanding payments
• Attend to incoming phone calls and basic client enquiries
