As a Project Engineer, you will have strong skills in work-plan development and progress tracking. •Establish and review engineering drawings, blueprints and specification whilst staying on top of the dynamic design engineering trends and cutting-edge technologies and establish framework with various departments for a seamless collaboration in the biogas environment.

•Coordinate and management of procurement and logistics for construction materials, fabrication items and equipment whilst ensuring their compliance with industry standards.

•Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, site diaries, change orders and quality control measures.

•Walk the talk, train the trainer, attend to punch list, conduct inspection and obtain COA signed by the client to mark end of the biogas project milestone for construction and commissioning phase.

•Review engineering deliverables with project team upon project completion and initiate appropriate corrective actions for future project implementation.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements

•A bachelor’s degree in Bio-Tech / Mechanical engineering from an accredited university or college.

•3 years of experience as a Project Engineer with excellent project management and supervision skills.

•Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and Auto-Cad is a must.

•Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards and best practices is preferred.

•Ability to travel extensively with good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

1.      OVERALL SUMMARY

The function is responsible for fulfilling all Charter Party requirements for spot voyages and time charter fixtures, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company’s reputation as a ‘Shipper of Choice,’ while controlling voyage-related expenses within acceptable levels.

2.      AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

2.1.       Monitor vessel movements and update operational systems accordingly.

2.2.       Review and respond to vessel-related communications, taking timely action.

2.3.       Manage voyage documentation and correspondence throughout the charter lifecycle.

2.4.       Coordinate with Superintendents, Commercial, Brokers, Agents & Vendors, and Masters to ensure smooth voyage execution.

2.5.       Appoint agents, arrange timely remittance, and oversee service providers as needed.

2.6.       Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations,

2.7.       Maintain vessel certificates, Q88 or Baltic 99 forms (if applicable) and related records can refer to the relevant IT systems promptly.

2.8.       Initiate freight, demurrage and claims billing submissions.

2.9.       Spot Voyages:

·     Support pre-fixture planning and clearance processes.

·     Facilitate voyage/discharge orders, stowage plans, bunkering plan and agent appointments.

·     Manage post-fixture activities including cargo documentation and demurrage claims.

2.10.   Time Charter Voyages:

·     Coordinate pre-time-charter queries and documentation.

·     Oversee time charter execution, owner’s agent appointments, and claims billing.

·     Ensure delivery/redelivery notices and contractual obligations are fulfilled.

2.11.    Other Duties:

·    Maintain communication with Security and Insurance & Claims department for vessels entering high-risk areas and arrange necessary security measures.

3.      QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

• Handle the execution of large-scale projects, peak-period operations, and ad-hoc programmes, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Supervise, train, and evaluate interns, providing feedback to support their development
• Other ad-hoc and admin duties as assigned such as weekly, monthly reporting to the manager as well as the preparation of operational reports.

Job Requirements

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration is not compulsory but preferable.
• Working experience in tourism-related industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
• Great coordination skills and attention to detail
• Personable and fluent in English

• Support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) activities to ensure organisational and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Support the use of technology, electronic tools and devices.
• Work with logistics providers on receipt, handling and storage of products.
• Work with sales and finance department to support payment processes for sellers
