The Role

This position is a hands-on senior role responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and continuously improving Mapletree Group’s global enterprise network across offices and data centres, with connectivity into cloud environments. You will lead a small team and managed service partners, but remain directly involved in technical delivery (design reviews, complex troubleshooting, changes, and automation) to ensure a secure, resilient and scalable network platform. Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience).

• Industry networking certification at professional level is preferred; other relevant certifications are an advantage.

We are seeking an experienced and delivery-driven Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, multi-million-dollar network infrastructure projects within enterprise environments.

Job Description

In your role as Electrical Engineering Lead / Manager, your focus will be to ensure that the installation and commissioning of the LV & MV Electrical systems and electrical control systems portion of the mechanical systems adheres to the technical requirements and the design already developed by the engineering contractor. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries non-conformance, SATand commissioning activities and facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the fabrication contractor, the engineering contractor, Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

• Visit to the fabrication yard and provide reliable information to the project manager regarding significant technical issues, particularly risks.
• Shall be integrated into the EPC engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with the fabrication yard representatives, the engineering design office, client’s home office and other discipline representatives at the fabrication yard.
• Where required, liaise and coordinate Electrical tasks with Suppliers, EPC Contractor and other disciplines.
• Troubleshooting / solution finding during fabrication.
• Shall propose a solution, including supporting documentation, to any design issues, flaws, or gaps in the contract requirements. These shall be agreed upon with Company before implementation.
• Coordinate electrical engineering tasks as needed during execution.
• Review costs for change orders, and progress claims when required.

Job Qualifications / Skills
You must have a result-oriented, proactive and systematic approach to your work. Your competencies:

• Concept, Functional, Preliminary and detailed design of various pumping systems for water, wastewater and sludge treatment plants
• Concept, Functional, Preliminary and detailed design of ancillary systems including chemical feed systems, mechanical ventilation systems, and drainage systems
• Preparation of General Arrangement and equipment layout drawings
• Preparation of mechanical process equipment and pump specifications
• Mechanical equipment and pipe sizing and calculations
• Review and evaluation of vendor submissions
• Coordination with other disciplines e.g. civil, structural, electrical, building services, and instrumentation & control designers

Preferred Qualifications

• A Professional Engineer (PE) registered with Professional Engineers Board Singapore or Chartered Engineer
• Possess a university engineering degree (mechanical)
• Candidate shall have minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in the mechanical design of wastewater treatment (municipal and industrial)
• Able to work independently in producing the project deliverables to meet project timeline
• Leads and guide a team of engineers and carries out QA/QC work on their designs
• Proficient in written and oral communication with good interpersonal skills

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development of the next-generation hardware platform utilizing the Rockchip
• Define the system architecture along with I/O and performance specifications

Responsibilities:

• Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and comply with project requirements and construction schedule
• Liaise with design consultants on the design intent, review M&E design drawings and advise on any under provisions and over provisions
• Coordinate with in-house architectural, civil and structural team to minimize discrepancies
• Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission
• Manage M&E subcontractors work progress, shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements submissions, and approval

TheTransformer Engineer (HV & MV) is responsible for supporting theengineering, technical coordination, and execution of high voltage and mediumvoltage transformer projects in Singapore.
