Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Management, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in payment, FinTech, or internet industries, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles with demonstrated success.

• Drive digital transformation initiatives by leading system integration and automation efforts

• Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity standards, and regulatory requirements throughout program lifecycle

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 9–14 years of relevant experience in IT project and program management
• Proven track record managing large-scale IT programs across multiple workstreams
• Strong experience with CRM, CMS, or MarTech platforms and ecosystems
• Prior experience delivering solutions for government and enterprise clients in CRM, CMS, or MarTech domains
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in digital transformation, system integration, and enterprise architecture
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with C-level executives
• Strong leadership skills managing cross-functional and distributed teams

As a Technology Strategist in the CTO Office at Cloud and Data Centre Solutions (CDCS), you will report directly to the CTO, CDCS to play a strategic and cross-functional role in shaping the future of cloud capabilities within the business unit. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies that align with CDCS’s vision of becoming a cloud and AI powerhouse.

Research and Development

• Continuously scan the market for bleeding-edge cloud technologies.
• Engage and stay up to date with key technology partners (e.g., AWS, Google, Oracle, Microsoft, Elastic, RedHat) on developments in their technology stack.
• Collaborate with professional services, presales, and managed services teams to assess the applicability of new technologies across CDCS.
• Shortlist and recommend technologies to develop into Proof of Concepts (POCs).
• Lead POC and R&D projects to completion, evaluating their adoption within business units.
• Drive the adoption of viable technologies across CDCS and its customer base.

Change Management and Capabilities Development

• Be the change agent driving the digital transformation of CDCS into an AI and cloud powerhouse.
• Develop, track and plan the overall capabilities development of CDCS, aligning with long-term strategic goals.
• Document staff capabilities, including tracking certifications and competencies across various cloud technologies to ensure alignment with organizational goals and partner requirements.
• Leverage partner programs for training, certifications, and rebates to enhance team competencies.
• Plan and manage resource allocation, including considerations for outsourcing and partner collaboration.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting

• Prepare strategic presentations and reports for senior management, highlighting progress, partnerships, financial plans, and technology direction.
• Track and report on cost savings, training progress, and certification achievements.

Qualities We Value

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, GCC).
• Experience working in the corporate arm of an organisation, with the ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and analytical mindset.
• Experience in evaluating and implementing emerging technologies, managing vendor relationships, and driving change management initiatives.
• Familiarity with AI, data platforms, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, cloud governance, and innovation management.
• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) are advantageous.
