What you will be working on

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in semiconductor capital equipment industry.
• Hands-on experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of testing methodology, C#, Python, or other scripting languages.

Position Overview 

In this role, you will be working as part of a closely knit product engineering team that develops key components that help products integrate with Autodesk’s Identity and Authorization solution. • Assist in Design, install and commission new production units, monitoring modifications and upgrades and troubleshooting existing processes

• Participate in improvement efforts leading to higher process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards

• In a cGMP environment, lead modifications and changes to processes and equipment, troubleshooting, deviation investigation, identification and completion of corrective and preventative actions.

• Assist Senior Engineer in proposal and evaluation modifications to equipment, processes and operations to improve safety, increase efficiency and enhance company goals.

• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers

• Actively engaged in developing specifications for process equipment and assisting in FAT / SAT of related equipment as part of the new build-outs.

• Participate and lead, when required, in all investigations (contaminations, deviations, and discrepancies) relating to the manufacturing process.

• Provide operational support for the successful and uninterrupted operation of manufacturing.

Job Summary

Lead mechanical engineering design projects from concept to completion, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient building services solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and chair progress, design team, and coordination meetings to drive project milestones and alignment
• Represent AECOM at client, design team, and progress meetings during design and construction phases to ensure stakeholder engagement
• Prepare outline scheme reports and technical design documentation to communicate project scope and details
• Contribute to contractor pre-qualification, respond to tender queries, and review tender submissions to support procurement decisions
• Participate in tender and client interviews to clarify project requirements and scope
• Ensure all project work complies with the Project Management Plan and Programme to meet deadlines and quality standards
• Deliver quality, sound, and efficient engineering design services reflected in all project deliverables

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification, or demonstrated successful delivery of design projects
• Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in a consulting environment, including at least 3 years in detailed design, contractor coordination, and onsite experience
• Experience in mechanical/electrical building services engineering design, including specification writing and calculations
• Knowledge of engineering practices, techniques, procedures, and ability to interface with design teams and client needs
• Familiarity with regulations, industry standards, and good engineering design practices
• Proven track record working on diverse Building Services designs for Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial projects
• Experience managing conceptual designs through to completion and direct client engagement
• Ability to contribute to fee proposals and resource planning
