Job Summary

Lead mechanical engineering design projects from concept to completion, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient building services solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and chair progress, design team, and coordination meetings to drive project milestones and alignment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Job Objectives:

The Marine Superintendent is primarily responsible to provide operational guidance and oversee vessels in the fleet, including Chemical Tankers. Job Description

• Develop and create 2D and 3D piping layouts, plans, isometrics, ensure that piping designs are optimized for efficiency, ease of maintenance, and compliance with project and industry standards
• Create detailed piping layouts and general arrangements for the plant, ensuring that pipe routing minimizes interference with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical) and optimizes space utilization
• Collaborate with stress engineers to ensure pipe routing and support arrangements can handle thermal expansion, seismic loads, and pressure differential
• Prepare detailed piping design deliverables, including pipe routing layouts, support details, isometric drawings, and bill of materials (BOM). Ensure designs comply with all relevant standards
• Collaborate with process, mechanical, civil, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of piping designs with other plant systems
• Work closely with the procurement team to prepare piping material specifications, liaise with suppliers for quotation and support vendor evaluations for piping components (valves, flanges, supports, etc.)
• Review piping installation drawings and provide feedback for improvement to ensure constructability
• Conduct site visits as needed to verify piping installations are in accordance with the approved designs

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• For Degree holder, minimum 5 years of experience in piping design. For Diploma holder, minimum 8 years of experience is required. For senior position, candidate must have at least 10 years of experience
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision, make sound decisions, take independent action, and provide focused solutions to assigned projects
• Possess strong inter-personal and communication skills and be able to work well with people at all levels in the organization
• In-depth knowledge of piping design codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, PUB regulations)
• Must have advanced computer literacy in commonly usedsoftware applications such as Navisworks, Bentley View, AutoCAD, piping design & drafting tools and MS Office
• Experience in process plant (such as wastewater treatment plant, sludge incineration plant, etc.) is preferred

Duties:

• Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and rectification across critical subsystems including:
• Safety & Control systems
• Detection & supervision systems
• Trackside infrastructure
• Data and communications systems, including logging networks and proprietary software
• Prepare and review maintenance procedures and checklists
• Ensure compliance with CAG specifications, aviation safety standards, and rail regulations
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive actions
• Manage critical spare parts and material availability
• Support rapid fault recovery within tight engineering windows
• Liaise with internal teams including Japan Design Office, Project Managers, and site technicians
• Act as technical point of contact for Changi Airport Group, vendors, and subcontractors

Working hours:
12 hour rotating shift from 8 to 8. Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 2 nights off 2 days.

US Biotech MNC hiring in Singapore for an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and integrate firmware.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for complex hardware systems.

• Design, integrate, test, and release firmware from concept to manufacturing.

• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, and Software teams to troubleshoot and optimize embedded systems.

• Follow firmware development best practices, coding standards, and documentation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience with hardware integration.

• Strong proficiency in C programming and embedded systems design.

• Experience with RTOS concepts, scheduling, and synchronization.

• Ability to interpret schematics and hardware datasheets.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity implementation in embedded systems.

• Strong communication skills and willingness to travel to the US.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ARM processors, RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, VxWorks, QNX), and product lifecycle development.

• Hands-on experience with interfaces/protocols such as I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.

• Familiarity with Git, Linux, debugging tools, GNU toolchain, and AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).

• Exposure to FPGA/RTL development, MATLAB, Python, Verilog/VHDL, or Xilinx tools is an advantage.
