• Minimum 10 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, including the ability to write reports in Chinese for Headquarters in Shanghai
• Strong understanding of the freight forwarding and supply chain solutions market, preferably with specialization in specific industry verticals

Our deal advisory team provides holistic client solutions for buying, selling, partnering, funding and fixing. The Transaction Services team focuses on due diligence assistance in relation to acquisitions, disposals, public bids/mergers, joint ventures, buy-outs, market entries, financing and other transactions. The team also helps clients identify upside opportunities and risks in their transaction processes to satisfy the due diligence requirements of underwriting banks.

Responsibilities

• Engagement leadership: Effectively leading multiple large, complex workstreams in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments
• Business development: Building, commercializing and sustaining relationships with top management team members. You are required to develop TS offerings focusing on specific sectors, themes and/or clients (eg – TMT, consumer, financial services, energy, infrastructure, healthcare, real estate etc.). You are expected to be comfortable in sharing asset opportunities to clients and provide regularly input into horizon scanning activities.
• Risk management: Identify and manage risks to ensure that the firm's risk management frameworks are implemented appropriately and effectively
• Team development: Identify and accelerate leadership development in team members by establishing appropriate plans and frameworks with particular emphasis on coaching and skills transfer
• Personal development: Participate in the career and skills development of more junior staff and acting as a role model for colleagues and clients by living the values of the Firm
• Performance management: Coaching and mentoring junior staff in the department.

Experience, skills and qualifications

• Strong academic background with financial and accounting qualifications such as ACCA, ISCA, CFA or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in global accounting firms, with detailed knowledge and understanding of financial due diligence and M&A processes.
• Prior experience working in South East Asia is highly regarded, but not essential.
• Strong personal impact.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Will be working with Japanese Clients. Proficiency in Japanese language is a must.
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions.
• Evidence of working successfully with top management teams at clients.
• Strong project management capability, including the ability to lead and coordinate multiple workstreams.
• Ability to perform consistently under pressure.
