Key areas of focus – include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing all guest experiences for the restaurant
• To be highly engaging with guests and colleagues on a regular basis to obtain feedbackon quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction
• Engage with guests in conversations so as to build a strong rapport between themselvesand the restaurant

Across all levels, our kitchen is a safe space for every culinary mind to explore their artistry and hone their craft in every dish, and in every detail.

You’ll be in charge of:

• Oversee daily food service operation and maintain food quality and consistency on a day-to-day basis
• Train and provide specific guidelines and exacting standards on how to prepare each menu item
• Preparing and checking quality of ingredients
• Ensuring great presentation before food is served
• Keeping a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Monitoring stocks and place order when there are shortages
• Attend and contribute in required meetings
• Enforcing strict health and hygiene standard and troubleshooting any problems that may arise
• Being awesome role model for junior team members

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of kitchen experience with 2 years in a supervisory role
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc)
• High standards of health and safety including personal hygiene
• Working in every area of the kitchen
• Able to perform basic task of food preparation and organisation of the kitchen

• Execute mise-en-place efficiently; including, setup an array of ingredients, the process of preparing, caring for your workstation
• Preparing a wide range of ingredients, meeting the highest standards of taste and presentation
• Checking quality of ingredients
• Monitor inventory count, quality of ingredients, and place orders when there are shortages
• Familiar with food safety regulations and ensure food is prepared and stored in a safe and sanitary manner

This role is one of very few positions that are primed to directly influence the guest experience. You will directly be able to ensure that our guests leave happy and satisfied with the service and experience at our restaurants—especially being able to identify unique opportunities to delight in the day-to-day service.

Your responsibilities include:

• Prepare the restaurant for opening and closing
• Dress the tables with the correct number of place settings, including crockery, silverware, glasses, and napkins.
• Maintain restaurant's overall cleanliness at all times
• Readily stand by at the pass, pick up dishes which are ready to be presented to the guest
• The ability to explain the ingredients used and/or methods on how to enjoy the dish when presenting the dish to the guest
• Proactive and able to anticipate guests' needs.
• Assisting station-in-charge to ensure that all guests’ needs are met, and to detail tables in between courses.
• Refresh the table with finesse once guests have finished their starters and main course (each course)
• Other additional task includes setting up and breaking down tables, restocking supplies, using the glassware dishwasher and other cleaning duties

Duties & Responsibilities:

This role requires a leader who is visible, energetic and has strong ethics. You will be passionate about developing the team while maintaining and promoting a management philosophy that culminates in guest satisfaction and employee engagement, while consistently achieving annual and long term financial and strategic plans.

As a member of the restaurant’s leadership team, this person will actively represent the restaurant’s mission and values as appropriate. You will be comfortable with stakeholders’ management and balancing the best outcomes in the best interests of the venue. 

General Management

• Oversee daily operations – manage restaurant standards and guest service.
• Developing and executing well thought through plans to achieve daily and monthly targets
• Manage staff, overseeing work schedules and assigning specific duties
• Create and improve standard operating procedures for service and product preparation
• Oversee venue equipment and facilities management / maintenance
• Conducts regular audits on the general cleanliness and maintenance of the venue and take corrective action as and when necessary
• Monitor venue adherence to all licensing laws regarding the service of food and beverage, public and employee safety while in compliance to local food safety standards. 
• Plan and manage activities with the Marketing department relating to sales promotions, events, etc

Human Resource & Financial Management

• Supports the General Manager with the overall responsibility on Claudine’s Profit & Loss statement.
• Analyze Point of Sales (POS) reports and sales trends, recommend and implement cost control exercises, and improvements to onsite sales and marketing tools. 
• Ensures staff development plans is in accordance to the needs of the business
• Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire and train new employees, and oversee the administrative processes while in compliance with local employment laws. 
• Drives the direction and expectations for the team to achieve team goals
• Implementing training and development  strategies for the front of house team. 
• Monitors and liaises with the Talent team on all venue related support required. 
• Liaises with Talent team regarding employee movements and performance feedback
• Ensures that balance of venue specific expectations is in compliance with the group’s mission and vision.
