Job Requirements:

The project engineering manager at the design center is responsible for leading, managing and designing AI DataCenter and/or medical products. Working with worldwide manufacturing plants, supplier management teams and customers to develop and manufacture new products effectively to the market.

Project Overview

A major contract to design and construct the onshore connecting infrastructure for a highly strategic, large-scale LNG Terminal and Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) project in Singapore.

1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering.

2. Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of engineering management experience, specifically in heavy civil, marine infrastructure, or oil & gas terminal projects (e.g., jetties, pipelines, receiving facilities).

3. Cross-Border Management: Proven track record of managing remote engineering teams or working in a highly matrixed, international organization. Experience controlling overseas design hubs while executing projects in Singapore is highly advantageous.

4. Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Singapore’s construction, engineering, and environmental regulations, as well as standards relevant to energy and marine infrastructure.

5. Communication & Versatility: Exceptional leadership and communication skills. Must be highly versatile, capable of adapting management styles to effectively bridge cultural and operational gaps between the Singapore site and the remote design office.

6. Language: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin is crucial for direct technical discussions, document reviews, and daily management of the overseas engineering team.
