Due to increasing demand and ongoing expansion plans, Devafin is seeking a Director to be based full-time in its Singapore office. Asa director and key representative of the business, this person is expected to:

·      Lead and manage operational services for European SMEs expanding into Asia, ensuring high standards of execution and efficiency

·      Serve as the primary liaison betweenEuropean clients and Asian partners, facilitating clear and effective cross-cultural communication

·      Develop and maintain strong client relationships, building trust through reliability, responsiveness, and cultural understanding

·      Identify market opportunities inSoutheast Asia and support clients in navigating local business environments, particularly in Singapore

·      Oversee business development initiatives, including client acquisition, partnerships, and strategic growth planning, and group structuring across regional operations

To be a successful candidate, you must have:

·      Bachelor’s degree in BusinessManagement or a related field

·      Fluency in multiple European languages preferred, with strong proficiency in German as a significant advantage

·      8 -10 years’ experience working within or with the European market, particularly SMEs

·      Hands-on, versatile skillset with experience across sales, marketing, operations management, and recruitment

We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive regional growth across the Asia Pacific market for advanced connectivity and digital technology solutions.

This senior leadership role will oversee business development, strategic account growth, and team performance across multiple APAC locations, with a strong emphasis on the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional sales strategy and execution for satellite connectivity, managed IT, cybersecurity, and digital vessel solutions across APAC.
• Manage and mentor sales and sales support teams based in Singapore and North Asia to achieve revenue and performance targets.
• Develop and grow key customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Drive sales across a wide portfolio including:VSAT and broadband connectivity solutionsL-band and next-generation low earth orbit (LEO) servicesManaged IT infrastructure and network supportCybersecurity solutionsVessel digitalisation services such as CCTV, crew welfare systems, and onboard IT platforms
• Maintain and expand both direct sales channels and indirect partner/distributor networks.
• Build and execute channel development strategies to strengthen regional market reach.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports for leadership review.
• Represent the business in client meetings, industry events, and regular regional travel.
• Work closely with internal teams including engineering, operations, customer success, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Contribute to regional sales reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales within satellite communications, maritime technology, or related connectivity sectors.
• At least 8 years in a leadership or team management capacity.

• Strong track record in both direct enterprise sales and channel / partner sales.
