They directly interface with the suppliers for quoting, PO placement, resolving commercial questions, date management, order tracking and ultimately inbound on-time-delivery of the product.

Responsibilities:

• RFQ management - timeliness, accuracy, negotiation
• Negotiation of Catalogue Price lists
• PO placement locally with suppliers within region
• Performance monitoring of supplier to delivery milestones
• Communication of status with Order Fulfillment organization
• POC for supplier change requests or non technical questions
• Approval of timing change requests related to technical questions
• Date Management focused on supplier OTD
• Input to forecast process through effective date management
• Coordination of tasks based on MRB / DMR meeting addressed to the supplier, including invoicing of expenses incurred
• Escalation to Fulfillment Specialist, Strategic Sourcing / Supplier Management when issues arise
• New Product Introduction into the supply chain, including RFQ management, negotiation, supplier selection and PO placement 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related
• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing / sourcing / supply chain / planning
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, bill of materials(BOMs) and technical drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure complete follow through.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain / Procurement best practices
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP,EPICOR), supply chain analytics and Excel-based planningtools. 
• Experience in Continuous Improvements and/or Lean Process Development preferred.
• Travelling may be required for visits to supplier locations

In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to translate scientific innovation into clinical breakthroughs in cornea tissue engineering.Working in a multidisciplinary environment, you will apply advanced regenerative medicine principles to refine artificial cornea scaffolds and develop scalable cell expansion platforms, directly contributing to vision restoration and enhanced patient quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Scaffold Development: Lead the optimization and fabrication of silk-fibroin-gelatin-collagen scaffolds. Apply core regenerative medicine principles to enhance scaffold transparency, mechanical stability, and bio-adhesion.
• Platform Engineering: Design and engineer biomaterial-based microbeads tailored for high-efficiency, three-dimensional expansion of Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs), accelerating the transition from lab-scale research to scalable clinical protocols.
• Data Integrity & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of experimental data and statistical analyses. Prepare reports, invention disclosures, and regulatory documentation to support project advancement.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure laboratory operations and procurement processes strictly adhere to established quality management standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with diverse teams of scientists and clinicians to translate research data into actionable project insights.

Key Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical, Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Project Experience: Demonstrable experience in biomedical engineering project work, ideally gained through academic research or prior internships.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong interest in cornea tissue engineering, biomaterials, and regenerative medicine.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience in biomaterial fabrication, characterization, and cell culture techniques.
• Communication: Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to document research findings accurately for both technical and regulatory audiences.

Strategic Projects & Analyses

• To support definition and implementation of segment strategies together with Regional Key Industry Managers (KIMs)
• To act as Project Management Office (PMO) for regional and local strategy implementation (OKR roll-out and monitoring)
• to provide regional update of strategic business plan including deviation analysis
• To develop business cases and facilitate data-driven decision making for strategic initiatives, go-to-market strategies, commercial policies and incentive plans
• To conduct Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement

Pricing

• To develop and communicate pricing guidance as input for countries and their owned price process
• To increase transparency on raw material cost impacts on finished goods. Margin monitoring and proposal of corrective measures to be communicated towards regional business management
• To prepare price argumentation material and provide to country sales and KIM/KAM organization
• To monitor implementation of pricing strategy

Channel Management

• To analyze and evaluate the performance of sales channels, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring consistent execution across all channels
• To monitor implementation of channel management project and business rules
• To develop plan for key strategic distributors for APAC in coordination with Distribution Management function and regional business management

Digitalization

• To represent and drive projects for Digitalization projects within APAC region
• To act as key focal point for business rules implementation and best practise exchange for key tools (e.g. Salesforce, VISTA, etc.). Improve data quality in Salesforce

• Conduct reviews and fulfil all requirements under the MAS Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Framework, including client surveys, document reviews, mystery shopping exercises, and assessment of FAA-related complaints, in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s policies and procedures.

• Monitor BSC outcomes, identify root causes of significant breaches and recurring errors, and drive appropriate remediation actions.

• Deliver training on the BSC Framework to new hires and provide guidance to new supervisors on BSC review processes and complaint investigations.

• Perform independent reviews of customer complaints related to investment sales activities.

• Ensure review processes remain aligned with regulatory developments, as well as changes to internal policies, procedures, and systems.

• Enhance and automate independent sales audit workflows through the use of RPA, system automation, and AI-driven solutions.
