Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively
• Willingness to travel for site inspections and on-site event execution as required
• Good knowledge of local hotels, venues, and event sites suitable for international clients

As APAC Event Marketing, Vice President in the Event Marketing team, you will lead end-to-end planning and execution of client and internal events that support business priorities. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners to design and deliver programs with strong governance, financial discipline, and a high standard of execution. You will help create a consistent, high-quality event experience while balancing creativity, risk management, and cost efficiency.

Job responsibilities

• Lead regional event initiatives aligned to business strategy, translating event briefs into high-impact programs

• Manage end-to-end event delivery including research, proposals, approvals, invitee and speaker management, and onsite execution

• Partner with internal stakeholders across business, Legal, Compliance, Marketing and Communications, sales, and product teams to deliver coordinated outcomes

• Own production management, including audio-visual, staging, run-of-show planning, and virtual event delivery where required

• Manage external vendors and venues, negotiating scopes, service levels, and deliverables

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 5 years of experience in event planning and end-to-end event execution

• Bachelor’s degree

• Demonstrated experience managing event budgets, including tracking, reconciliation, and cost control

• Proven ability to lead multiple events simultaneously with strong project management, prioritization, and attention to detail

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including confidence engaging and influencing senior leaders

• Experience managing external vendors and venues, including scope, timelines, and deliverables

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make decisions under time pressure

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience in financial services or a similarly regulated environment
