The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity on our APAC Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) team for a Compliance Director, APAC South, located in Singapore. In this role, you will provide direct oversight for complex elements of Abbott's compliance program in the APAC South region (Singapore/Malaysia/Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand) across all of our business units. What You’ll Do

• Partners with the ECO and business on compliance audits, oversees the fulfillment of auditor requests, acts as liaison between business and auditors during on site activities, evaluates and assists the businesses with responses to all complex preliminary findings and recommendations, guides the business in preparing corrective action to address complex and highly complex findings and recommendations.

• Oversees all Affiliate Compliance Committees at the affiliate level and provides input on violation process.  Reviews internal trends and implements corrective actions.

• Provides leadership and guidance on proposed commercial programs, identifies complex legal and regulatory issues, analyzes alternatives and works with legal, as appropriate, to propose solutions to the business.

• Possesses in-depth knowledge of Abbott businesses and knowledge of the broader business impact.

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (Engineering or a related field).
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the education or training industry in senior operational leadership roles (COO, Director of Operations, VP Operations, etc.).

• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale operations (organizations with 50+ employees or revenue exceeding $10 million).
