Purpose of this role

This role will serve as a key link between Impact Forecasting’s R&D teams, Aon’s catastrophe management and broking teams, and our clients, ensuring that our technical capabilities remain closely aligned with client needs and evolving market developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and calibration of flood models across APAC, including fluvial, pluvial, coastal flooding and tropical cyclone related flooding.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable modelling pipelines using scripting (primarily Python) and appropriate modelling tools.
• Work closely with Impact Forecasting R&D teams worldwide on the development, validation, and implementation of flood models, helping to drive model adoption and effective use.
• Partner with other R&D teams, analytics teams, catastrophe management teams, brokers, and clients across Asia-Pacific, the US, and Europe as needed.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for APAC flood modelling, clearly explaining model methodologies, assumptions, and outputs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Provide technical support and guidance to Aon broking and advisory teams on the use of Impact Forecasting models in client engagements.
• Lead and manage project teams, including planning, prioritising, and delivering modelling projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Hydrology, Hydroinformatics, Water Resources Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Physical Geography, Atmospheric Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields).
• Strong foundation in hydrology and/or meteorology, with the ability to apply this knowledge to quantitative modelling; experience with large-scale climate data processing and integrating climate science into catastrophe models is an advantage.
• 3–5years of experience in technical project management and people management for country-scale catastrophe modelling initiatives.
• Advanced geospatial scripting skills, preferably in Python, with a strong focus on raster data processing.
• Working knowledge of MS SQL databases; experience with additional scripting/programming languages (e.g., R, MATLAB, C#, C++, VBA) is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

The Corporate Finance & Disclosures Department regulates:

(i) the offering of securities, business trusts and collective investment schemes (including REITs);

(ii) the conduct of takeover and merger transactions;

(iii) the disclosure of interests in securities of listed entities; and

(iv) SGX as a listed entity.

It also supervises corporate financial advisers and credit rating agencies, and coordinates the Capital Markets Group's regulatory approach to corporate and sustainability disclosures.

A) Administration of the Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) regime

Review offers of retail CIS— including applications for CIS authorisation and recognition, and CIS prospectus and product highlights sheet to ensure compliance with relevant requirements under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA) and the Code on Collective Investment Schemes. Administer the notification framework for offers of CIS to accredited investors. Assess breaches of SFA requirements by CIS and recommend appropriate courses of action in accordance with the Regulatory Action Framework.

B) Project work

Supporting a study into the possibility of a PISCES-like private market exchange in the Singapore context, and possible implications for Singapore’s regulatory framework Supporting a project to implement a Proof-of-Concept AI-driven listed company surveillance model. Supporting ongoing study of tokenisation developments and implications for the regulatory framework for CIS and securities.

C) Handling consumer complaints (1Q27)

3-month full-time attachment to the Consumer Issues Division (CSI). You will be expected to primarily handle consumer calls and complaints on financial institutions (FIs) and unlicensed entities, and follow-through a case from start to end. Besides consumers,you will also engage with FIs and other government agencies, as well as relevant MAS supervisory and policy departments on assigned cases.    Apart from handling consumer feedback, you could also be involved in relevant projects such as using the experience to improve the working model between CSI and other departments, ways to harness the feedback to improve policies, complaints analytics and consumer risk surveillance projects.

You will act as the owner of downstream growth outcomes across Web3 Consumers, working through partners such as merchants, PSPs, and distribution channels to activate and scale end-user behavior. Rather than direct-to-consumer growth, this role is responsible for converting partnership supply into sustainable user activity and transaction volume, leveraging data-driven strategies, incentive design, and cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate combines strong growth analytics capability with a deep understanding of user behavior, partner dynamics, and Web3 product usage.

Partner-driven User Growth Ownership

The Role

We are seeking a Merchant Acquisition Lead (Online Acquiring) to lead/support the acquisition of strategic merchants and partners across non-China markets. This role focuses on onboarding Tier-1 e-commerce platforms, digital content providers, and third-party acquirers, building strong payment distribution channels.

You will act as the owner of upstream transaction supply, driving high-quality merchant onboarding and ensuring newly signed partners translate into real transaction volume (GTV). The ideal candidate combines strong commercial negotiation skills with a deep understanding of online payment flows and acquiring business models.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Merchant &Institutional Partnership Development

• Identify, acquire, and onboard strategic merchants, platforms, and acquiring partners across key markets.
• Focus on high-impact segments such as e-commerce, digital entertainment, and aggregator/ acquirer channels.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of partnerships to support scalable transaction growth.

2. Commercial Structuring& Deal Execution
