Purpose of the post

The Senior Research Fellow (SRF) will be responsible to conduct research on cell culture, mouse experiments and various functional assays, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful completion of the experiments on time. Main duties and responsibilities

The SRF will perform extracellular vesicles characterization, assays in cell culture. The SRF will be able to:

1. Project and Laboratory Management: Oversee the overall management and day-to-day coordination of the main research project, and provide supervisory support to other ongoing projects within the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Perform accuracy, repeatability, stress, lifetime, and reliability testing.
• Conduct DFMEA/FMEA, safety analysis, and risk assessments.
• Support DFM, manufacturing test automation, and field issue resolution.
• Prepare electrical drawings, BOMs, test procedures, and qualification reports.

Education / Experience / Languages:

Required 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
• 7–12 years of experience in electrical systems, controls, and sensor engineering for industrial or semiconductor equipment
• Strong experience in PCBA design, analog/digital circuits, and sensor signal conditioning 
• Hands‑on PLC programming and system commissioning experience 
• Solid understanding of sensor calibration, drift, and long‑term stability 
• Experience with test setups, validation systems, and data analysis 

Preferred 

• Experience with HMI design and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, CAN, RS485) 
• Exposure to embedded microcontrollers and firmware‑sensor interfaces 
• Familiarity with UHP gas components (MFCs, valves, regulators) 
• Knowledge of SEMI standards (S2, F19, F57) and cleanroom requirements 
• Experience with data logging, LabVIEW or Python scripting 
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead cross‑functional R&D programs
