Role Overview

This role involves analysing market trends, assessing competition, and ensuring effective implementation of regulatory frameworks to support a fair and dynamic industry.

Key Responsibilities

Policy Development

• Analyse regulatory and competition issues in telecom, media, and post/parcel sectors.
• Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop well-informed policy recommendations.

Policy Implementation & Enforcement

• Implement regulatory frameworks and ensure compliance across the sectors.
• Investigate potential breaches and take appropriate enforcement action when necessary.

Competition Assessment

• Review competition matters, including mergers and acquisitions, under applicable codes.

Regulatory Frameworks

• Evaluate, maintain, and enhance legislation and policies to achieve strategic objectives.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant experience in telecom, media, postal, or related sectors.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proactive, analytical, and creative problem-solver.
• Results-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and skilled in stakeholder engagement.
• Independent, collaborative, and comfortable contributing to cross-functional projects.
