• Proven ability to deliver complex projects involving multiple teams from planning through implementation including success in managing resources effectively.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and oversee service operations for critical power systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise in UPS systems and experience managing field service teams in mission-critical environments such as rail or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Service Engineers and Technicians supporting critical power systems
• Oversee installation, testing & commissioning (T&C), and maintenance of equipment such as: Modular UPS systems, Lithium battery systems Generators, Switchgears
• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules across multiple sites
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high service standards and satisfaction
• Provide technical support and expertise to the sales team for pre-sales activities and solutioning
• Develop, review, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for installation and maintenance
• Support business development initiatives, including technical presentations and client engagements

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience working with critical power equipment (UPS, batteries, generators, switchgears)
• Strong knowledge of major UPS brands and system specifications
• Prior experience managing or leading a service team in large-scale projects (e.g. MRT, rail, or infrastructure projects)
• Hands-on experience in installation, testing & commissioning, and maintenance of UPS systems (Modular/Static)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-focused with the ability to provide high-quality after-sales service and technical support
• Ability to provide proactive maintenance recommendations and solutions to clients

• Experience in rail or mission-critical environments
• Strong familiarity with manufacturer specifications and compliance standards
• Proven track record in managing large service teams
