• Managing the payroll system and performing payroll duties, including identifying, verifying and resolving discrepancies for local and overseas payroll

Ramboll is part of an EPC project, where we are working as client’s representative for the EPC contractor located in Singapore. The Electrical Engineering Lead will act as a representative for the EPC contractor during design execution at EPC contractors’ office in Singapore.

Job Description

In your role as Electrical Engineering Lead / Manager, your focus will be to ensure that the installation and commissioning of the LV & MV Electrical systems and electrical control systems portion of the mechanical systems adheres to the technical requirements and the design already developed by the engineering contractor. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries non-conformance, SATand commissioning activities and facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the fabrication contractor, the engineering contractor, Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

• Visit to the fabrication yard and provide reliable information to the project manager regarding significant technical issues, particularly risks.
• Shall be integrated into the EPC engineering team.
• Collaborate closely with the fabrication yard representatives, the engineering design office, client’s home office and other discipline representatives at the fabrication yard.
• Where required, liaise and coordinate Electrical tasks with Suppliers, EPC Contractor and other disciplines.
• Troubleshooting / solution finding during fabrication.
• Shall propose a solution, including supporting documentation, to any design issues, flaws, or gaps in the contract requirements. These shall be agreed upon with Company before implementation.
• Coordinate electrical engineering tasks as needed during execution.
• Review costs for change orders, and progress claims when required.
• Follow up on progress and evaluate / oversee quality from the EPC contractor.
• Interact with clients and stakeholders on technical solutions to ensure the best solution and in the client’s best interest.

Job Qualifications / Skills
You must have a result-oriented, proactive and systematic approach to your work. You enjoy working both independently and together with co-workers, from both the engineering team and the EPC team thus experience in both design and installation/commissioning is preferred. You will engage with multiple stakeholders during the execution, thus teamwork is essential to achieve results.

Your competencies:

• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or similar.
• Have extensive experience in electrical offshore engineering – preferably with offshore substation design and installation/commissioning – with a minimum of 15 years of experience combined with managing of complex engineering tasks.
• Comprehensive understanding of offshore OSS design standards and codes, Korean regulations are preferred (e.g., DNV-ST-0145)
• Have experience with typical OSS interfaces from design phase to procurement, vendors, shop preparations, materials, installation, layout, safety, cable routing, equipment tagging, numbering & marking, testing, and quality.
• Be familiar with standard OSS component vendors.
• Be familiar with the discipline interfaces and integration to other disciplines and systems.
• Speak and write English fluently.
• Have excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey complex technical information.

Theprimary focus areas of the department are the offshore wind and renewableenergy solutions sectors. We cover all aspects of a project including conceptand feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC and follow-up engineering.

We represent a strong group of Engineers with comprehensive experience in design and analysis of Offshore Substations for Offshore windfarms. The current position is working as the EPC contractor representative at EPC contractors office. A contract period of 5 months is currently foreseen with an estimated start on site from May 2026 to September 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and comply with project requirements and construction schedule
• Liaise with design consultants on the design intent, review M&E design drawings and advise on any under provisions and over provisions
• Coordinate with in-house architectural, civil and structural team to minimize discrepancies
• Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission
• Manage M&E subcontractors work progress, shop drawings, materials, samples, method statements submissions, and approval
• Attend M&E coordination meeting, prepare M&E coordination drawings and liaise with Architectural Coordinators and Design Engineers for drawing issuance
• Ensure good M&E drawing management and the control of M&E documentation and filing on site

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering recognised by PE Board / BCA, or relevant M&E accreditation recognised by PE Board/BCA
• At least 8 years’ experience in Building Engineering projects
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for a senior role
• Experience with prefabricated MEP system projects will have an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCad, and BIM
• Organised, meticulous with positive work attitude

• Good analytical, supervision and communication skills
• Completed QM project and a registered Core-trade Foremen/Supervisor would be an added advantage
