Key Responsibilities

Technical Project Delivery

• Convert business objectives into structured functional and technical specifications.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of DX initiatives
• Monitor progress milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed effectively and on schedule.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to manage scope, budget, and delivery expectations.

Risk, Governance & Process Oversight

• Design and implement (SOPs) to support newly introduced system
• Maintain accurate, complete, and updated system and process documentation.
• Ensure adherence to organisational policies, including Data Protection, Information Security, AI Governance, and IT standards, and conduct periodic compliance reviews.
• Proactively detect, escalate, and resolve project risks and operational issues.
• Supervise vendor support activities and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Provide administrative coordination and planning support for DX team activities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement

• Lead deployment planning, data transition activities, and business readiness initiatives to support successful system adoption.

Requirements

Technical and Professional Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience managing government projects on AI database system or data related projects.
• Working knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps practices, and application/system architecture.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Functional (job responsibilities)

• Manage Oracle OS and SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security
• Apply data modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members
• Responsible for support applications and services used for the production, management and delivery of content and services online
• Provide the capacity planning, monitoring and maintenance of designated system identifying trends or problems. Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
• Handling BAU operations and supporting deployments for Windows and Linux servers.
• Enhance the knowledge improvement plans. Prepare documentations and specifications
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Ensuring that process are dully followed (change, incident, problem management)
• Handling escalation on actions from users and collaborating with Production Engineers Level 2 (incident, request, change)
• Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
• Support Telephony System - IPC NICE Recording
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours

Organizational (organizational responsibilities)

Education/Qualification

• University Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field

Experience/Requirements

• Possess at least 5 years of experience in MS SQL Server, Windows, Oracle Administration and Linux Administration
• Possess at least 5 years of application support experience
