Job Purpose

• To Provide an HR Administrative function to the business
• To Populate and maintain the HR database and Personal file

Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

• Understanding the skill sets from BLM
• Sourcing the candidates by using job portals like Naukri/job posting
• Screening of the resume of the candidates, conducting initial round of telephonic interview and shortlisting the candidates based on the initial round

Job Summary

The Senior Unix / Linux System Administrator will ensure the stability, security, and performance of Unix and Linux systems supporting high-availability platforms in mission-critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Unix (e.g., Solaris) and Linux systems across production, test, and disaster recovery environments to ensure operational continuity
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and security hardening to maintain system reliability and compliance with standards
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; analyze metrics and implement improvements to optimize infrastructure
• Manage system backups to guarantee data recoverability and support business continuity plans
• Provide timely system support and troubleshoot incidents to meet service level standards and minimize downtime
• Conduct root cause analysis of system issues and implement preventive measures to reduce recurrence
• Plan and execute system changes following established change management processes to ensure smooth deployment
• Support deployment activities and coordinate releases into production environments to minimize disruptions
• Maintain accurate system configurations and documentation to ensure proper tracking of infrastructure components
• Support disaster recovery planning and participate in regular testing exercises to validate recovery readiness
• Ensure standby and recovery systems are effective and ready for activation during incidents

Job Scope

• Process customer orders for local shipments in the system.
• Arrange shipments with assigned transport providers.
• Ensure all orders are processed and dispatched within daily cut-off times.
• Monitor shipment status and follow up on pending orders.
• Prepare shipment documents such as invoices, pick lists, and delivery notes.
• Perform system transactions accurately using ERP or warehouse systems.
• Maintain proper filing and archiving of shipment documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse, transport providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment processing.
• Respond to operational emails and provide shipment updates when required. Assist in daily inventory checks and cycle count activities

Requirement

• NITEC / Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other relevant discipline
