Position: Logistics Admin
Department: Logistics
The Logistics Admin is responsible for theday-to-day coordination of vehicle movements, update driver assignments, andjob scheduling. This role ensures timely service delivery by monitoringreal-time fleet activity, responding to delays or incidents, and optimizingroutes for fuel efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fleet & Route Coordination
· Account for all outgoing Invoice/DO.
· Update daily fleet movements and job assignmentsbased on customer delivery requests.
· Allocate vehicles and drivers according tooperational requirements and job urgency.
2. Real-Time Monitoring & Issue Resolution · Monitorjob progress and vehicle locations via GPS tracking systems.
· Proactively adjust route plans to minimizedelays caused by traffic, breakdowns, or incidents.
· Respond to on-road issues by communicatingdirectly with drivers to relay job instructions or schedule changes.
· Liaise with drivers, customer service teams, andoperations staff to ensure seamless execution.
3. Compliance & Safety
· Maintain driver records, including licenses,medical cards, and training certifications.
· Support compliance with safety, traffic, andoperational procedures.
· Report incidents, hazards, and accidents; assistwith investigations as needed.
4. Documentation & Cost Control
· Maintain accurate records of trips, jobs, andvehicle utilization.
· Update job sheets promptly based ondriver-submitted photo evidence of job progress or completion.
· Log additional costs incurred during jobexecution, such as tolls, permits, or special handling charges.
· Monitor fuel consumption, speeding, braking, andother vehicle performance metrics.
5. Vendor & System Management
· Process and handle documents through portsystems (e.g., PSA Portnet) where applicable.
· Serve as primary user of the TransportManagement System for fleet operations.
· Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensurevehicles are serviced and inspection-ready.
Job Requirements:
· Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels or Diploma in Logisticsor related field
· At least 1–3 years of experience in logistics,fleet coordination, transport planning operations
· Experience in fast-paced, time-sensitiveoperations environments is highly desirable
· Proactive and able to prioritise tasks based onoperational urgency
· Strong attention to detail, particularly indocumentation and job tracking
· Able to work under pressure in real-timeoperational settings
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tracking,reporting, data management
Working Hours:
- 7am to 4pm (Monday to Friday)
- 7am to 12noon (Alternate Saturday)
