The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the IPT maintenance and utility operation activities, but also other areas of the site if required.

Operation and Maintenance

• To provide technical support/assistance including fault diagnosis in close coordination with the maintenance team, process team, and external vendor(s) to enable the process equipment to maximize their operation. Change Control

• Participates in ECC field walk-down, including as-built P&IDs and HAZOP reviews,and completes the required action items associated with them.

SOP, Documentation, and Training

• Ensure 100% training completion based on the required training program.
• Supporthe development and revision of the maintenance operation Job Aids and Job plans.
• Support the continuous improvement, simplification, and optimization of documentation.

• Involves Lean Six Sigma Tools (such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED, and 5S) to support execution of continuous improvement and OE projects intended to increase agility, flow, and throughput, while also reducing cycle time and inventory.

Financial Stewardship

• Undertakes activities to support the realization of production, cost-effectiveness, and product cost reduction targets set in the Profit Plan, with particular emphasis on spare parts and consumables inventory and cost and reducing waste.
• Support maintenance cost optimization programs, including spare parts inventory levels, and equipment breakdown
  Quality / SHE Stewardship

Quality

• Ensures all planned and unplanned maintenance activities are completed according to established procedures and all associated documentation is completed to a high standard and compliance with GMP and GDP standards.

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Service Technician or Engineer to join our dedicated service team. • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues, covering motors, sensors (photo eyes, proximity, load cells), solenoids, relays, VFDs/inverters, basic PLC I/O faults, control panels, and wiring
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, including mechanical assembly, alignment, piping, cable pulling, I/O verification, dry runs, and production trials
• Perform basic calibration and verification of equipment such as weighing systems, load cells, level sensors, temperature probes, pressure gauges, and safety interlocks
• Carry out comprehensive safety checks before and after maintenance, ensuring compliance with guarding, emergency stops, interlocks, earthing, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Maintain accurate service documentation, including job reports, fault analysis, spare parts usage, root cause findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
• Practical experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment commissioning, and basic calibration
• Familiarity with safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), interlocks, and emergency stops
