We are seeking a responsible and hands-on Aircon Technician to oversee daily field operations, coordinate technical teams, and ensure service standards are maintained across multiple project sites.

The ideal candidate should possess technical air-conditioning knowledge, leadership ability, and experience in managing ground operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily deployment of aircon technicians to assigned job sites
• Assign service, maintenance, repair, and installation jobs based on manpower and schedule planning
• Conduct onsite inspections to ensure work quality, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction
• Diagnose escalated technical issues and provide guidance to technicians on rectification works
• Monitor progress of ongoing jobs and ensure completion within timeline
• Liaise with customers regarding service timing, site access, and technical findings
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and operational updates
• Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment, spare parts, and company assets
• Train junior technicians and improve team productivity

Requirements

• Related field
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in aircon servicing / maintenance industry
• Supervisory or team-leading experience preferred
• Good knowledge of split unit, cassette, VRV/VRF and commercial aircon systems
• Able to read service schedules and coordinate manpower efficiently
• Basic computer skills for reporting and scheduling
• Possess Class 3 driving licence is an advantage
• Responsible, independent and able to work under pressure

Job Description

About the Role

We are an Audio Visual (AV) rental and event production company supporting corporate events, exhibitions, webcasts, and live productions across Singapore.

We are looking for a dependable AV Technician who already has hands-on experience and is ready to take on more responsibility in event setup and live operations.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, suited for individuals who are comfortable working with technical equipment and supporting live event operations.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Preparation

• Prepare equipment based on job sheets and packing lists
• Test, clean, label, pack, and stage AV equipment before deployment
• Ensure cables, accessories, adapters, stands, and power distribution are complete
• Report missing, damaged, or faulty equipment
• Support stock organisation, return checks, and equipment maintenance

Delivery & Logistics Support

• Load and unload AV equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with packing vehicles to improve deployment efficiency
• Support delivery, collection, and logistics coordination
• Follow proper handling procedures for AV equipment

On-Site Setup & Operations

• Assist in setup, testing, and teardown of AV systems
• Set up equipment such as displays, projectors, audio systems, microphones, lighting, and video systems
• Run cables neatly and safely
• Perform basic troubleshooting during setup and event operation
• Follow instructions from team leads, engineers, and project managers

Event Execution

• Support live event operations on-site
• Assist with equipment changes and troubleshooting during events

• Respond calmly under time pressure and changing event requirements

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in AV, events, staging, production, or technical support is preferred. Suitable for candidates ready to take on more responsibility
• Able to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving equipment
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and varying schedules when required
• Able to work both in a warehouse and at event sites
• Responsible, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Able to work in a team and in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills (Required)

• Basic knowledge of audio, video, and signal flow
• Familiarity with AV connections such as XLR, HDMI, SDI, CAT6, and power distribution
• Experience supporting corporate events, exhibitions, or live shows
• Experience handling AV equipment such as TVs, projectors, wireless microphones, mixers, speakers, or LED wall systems
• Ability to troubleshoot simple signal or connectivity issues
• Comfortable using ladders, tools, and flight cases safely

The Job

• To handle breakdown promptly and minimize breakdown time. 
• To carry out daily maintenance work effectively, efficiently and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirement as per routine checklist according to vessels' schedule plan. 
• To assist Corrective & Preventive Maintenance Section to carry out any specific job as and when required.
• To create Enterprise Asset Management system Work Order before/after completion of every job order.
