Onestage Academy is a Singapore-based premier performing arts institution dedicated to comprehensive arts education and trainee. Our curriculum spans dance, vocals, acting, instruments, hosting/elocution, and theatrical creation.

We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Musical Theatre Instructor to join our faculty and help drive our unique dual-track educational model.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality musical theatre lessons (combining acting, singing, and movement) to students across different age groups.
• Implement the Stella Adler curriculum while integrating modern pop/trainee performance elements.
• Prepare students for internal assessments, public showcases, and professional auditions.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop original choreographies and theatrical pieces.

Requirements

• Professional Background: Degree in Musical Theatre, Drama, Vocal Performance, or a related field.
• Triple Threat Ability: Strong proficiency in acting, singing, and dance.
• Teaching Experience: Proven track record in arts education, specifically working with children, teenagers, or young adults.
• Adaptability: A deep appreciation for both traditional Broadway techniques and modern pop/idol culture.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills (English proficiency required; bilingualism is a plus given our diverse student base).

Job Description

Airports are increasingly complex socio-technical systems in which efficient coordination of airside, landside, and even terminal operations is critical to maintaining safety, efficiency, and the passenger experience. As a major global aviation hub, Singapore must continuously enhance its airport management capabilities to support growing traffic demand, operational resilience, and sustainable airport operations. Achieving this requires advanced operational concepts, data-driven decision support, and integrated management of airport resources across stakeholders.

To strengthen national capabilities in airport systems research, we are advancing the TAM and CONOPS studies under collaborative initiatives with aviation stakeholders. These efforts aim to develop next-generation operational frameworks that integrate airport stakeholders, optimise resource allocation, and improve situational awareness and decision-making across the airport ecosystem.

We are seeking highly motivated Research Scientists to conduct cutting-edge research in airport operations, TAM, and CONOPS development. The role focuses on analysing complex airport operational processes, developing data-driven models, and designing future airport operational concepts to enhance efficiency, resilience, and collaboration among stakeholders, including air traffic management, airlines, ground handlers, and airport operators.

Successful candidates will work within a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to develop advanced operational models, simulation tools, and optimisation frameworks that support airport-wide decision making. This includes studying airport operational workflows, identifying system bottlenecks, and designing integrated solutions for areas such as aircraft turnaround, ground movement, towing operations, gate and stand allocation, and disruption management.

Beyond research innovation, you will play a key role in translating research insights into operational decision-support tools and demonstrable prototypes, working closely with industry partners and operational stakeholders to ensure the relevance and deployability of developed solutions.

This work contributes directly to strengthening Singapore’s position as a future-ready global aviation hub, enabling more efficient, resilient, and intelligent airport operations through data-driven research and operational innovation.

Job Requirements

• PhD degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with rich AI experience.

• Strong programming and data analysis skills, preferably using C/C++, JAVA, or similar.
• Experience in data analysis, cleaning, and visualisation, particularly for real-world sensor data (e.g., surface radar, GPS, and weather data).
• Experience in simulation, optimisation, or decision-support systems applied to transportation or airport operations is highly desirable.
• Experience in process modelling, operational concept development, and workflow analysis for large-scale operational systems.
• Strong background in airport operations, air transport systems, or complex system modelling, with experience in operational analysis and systems-level thinking is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent, high-quality research and translate ideas into deployable prototypes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with domain experts and operational stakeholders.
• A strong sense of ownership, research integrity, and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
• A genuine passion for advancing AI technology and translating research outcomes into real-world operational impact.

Job Descriptions:

·Plan and accomplish teaching tasks by following the school’s requirements.

·Prepare learning materials to ensure effectiveness of class management.

·Assign homework, correction, grading tests and complete other paper works according to school’s requirements.

·Monitor and communicate with parents regularly about student's progression.

·Evaluate students' performance to provide positive enhancement to their learning.

·Update and compile all teaching and learning materials including short term training and learning materials according to latest MOE syllabus.

·Attend all school staff meetings and training programmes.

·Perform any ad hoc basis duties as assigned by superior or management.

The Role

You will be the bridge between parents and our education programmes. Your focus is to listen, understand each child's unique learning needs, and recommend the right path forward — while also ensuring a smooth, caring enrolment experience from first call to class registration.

Key Responsibilities

Parent Support

• Respond promptly and warmly to inbound calls, WhatsApp messages, and online enquiries from parents.

• Listen actively to parents' concerns about their child's learning progress or challenges.

• Provide reassurance, clarity, and timely updates throughout the enrolment journey.

• Follow up with parents after trial classes or assessments to check in on their child's experience.

Consultation Role (Understanding & Advising)

• Ask thoughtful questions to understand each student's learning needs, goals, and preferences.

• Explain our programmes, teaching approach, and class structures in a clear, helpful way.

• Guide parents toward suitable programmes based on their child's age, level, and learning style.

• Schedule trial classes, assessments, or centre visits as part of the consultation process.

Enrolment & Conversion

• Gently support parents in making informed enrolment decisions when a programme is a good fit.

• Follow up on warm leads in a helpful, non-pushy manner (e.g., sharing class availability, answering last-minute questions).

• Convert enquiries into enrolments by focusing on value and outcomes, not pressure.

• Meet personal enrolment goals through genuine service, not hard selling.

Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate parent and student records in our database/CRM.

• Process class registrations and schedule adjustments.

• Assist with basic billing follow-ups (e.g., payment reminders, collecting confirmations).

• Prepare simple reports on enquiry volume and enrolment status.

Working Hours

4 weekdays: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM

1 weekend: Sunday 8:45 AM – 6:45 PM

The weekday off day will be fixed upon hiring.

Who We're Looking For

Essential:

• Prior experience in customer service, admissions, enrolment, or a consultative role (education background is a plus but not required).

• Excellent listening and communication skills — able to connect with parents warmly.

• A genuine desire to help families, not just "close a sale."

• Comfortable with a subtle, service-led approach to enrolment conversion.

• Organised and detail-oriented for administrative tasks.

• Proficient with MS Office / Google Workspace and basic CRM systems.

• Willing to work weekday evenings and Sunday.

Good to have:

• Experience in an education, tuition, or enrichment centre setting. Comfortable with a role with sales element.
