THE ROLE:

DFT engineer will lead strong engineering team on Scan, MBIST, iJTAG test development of latest AMD products. The IPs range from complex processors, AI computation blocks, to state-of-the-art controller IPs which provide automotive, data center, machine learning and high-speed communication solutions. You will work closely with designers to make sure DFT structures are correctly implemented, with test engineers to make sure ATE test programs can be generated from the DFT (ATPG, MBIST) tools, with product engineers to make sure scan/MBIST production test can run seamlessly and stable, and with yield engineers to debug and root-cause failures/defects. You will get the opportunity to expand technical knowledge beyond DFT into embedded processor firmware, complex chip simulation, RTL implementation for ASIC & FPGA and deep silicon debug works all the way to high-volume production requirement. This is the role to oversee complete silicon cycle from design to production phases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage DFT engineers resolving technical challenges and meeting product schedule
• The role is in AMD global quality and operation organization driving best manufacturing test solution through pre and post silicon activities
• Work closely with design teams and make sure DFT structures are correctly implemented.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience DFT engineering experience through DFT pre and post silicon cycles
• Experience in creating and implementing complex chip-level DFT architecture
• Experience in DFT implementation including Scan and Scan Compression at IP and SoC level
• Experience with DFT tools, ATPG (Stuck-At, At-Speed, Path-Delay) and scan compression.

Senior Engineer - Utilities

The incumbent will provide direction and supervision to support utilities system maintenance and operation in compliance with cGMP, EHS, Data Integrity, and regulatory requirements for the Sterile manufacturing site

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of utilities and facilities systems, but not limited to WFI, RO, HVAC, chiller, boiler, air compressor, and nitrogen systems

The Signalling Design Engineer collaborates with his/her peers including Project Design Authority, Project Managers, Procurement, Supply Chain, Installation and T&C Engineers.

This role will be involved with complex and difficult designs following established system engineering process 

• Transportation Project  ( Mainline , MRT, LRT )  
• Large projects requiring multiple international entities. 
• Understand Customer needs: operation, safety and maintenance
• Deliver on time and within budget

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

• Translate Customer requirements into conceptual designs and prepare associated documentation by performing operational analyses, simulations and technical trade-off studies identifying alternative design configurations and functional features.
• Prepare, update, and review interface schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, block diagrams, I/O bitmaps, track scheme plans, cable routing designs, bill of materials, and other analysis required for design of signalling systems
• Support interface with other system wide contractors (eg. Platform Screen Doors, Civil, Trackworks, Comms, power, etc.) and write Interface Control Documents
• Prepare and review test procedures and support investigation of systems/sub-system issues raised during testing or during revenue service.
• Ensure safety is built into the design at each step.
• Supported by the Project Design Authority, deliver technical presentations to internal and external engineering/management groups in clear, complete, concise and non-ambiguous terms.
• Support technical proposals based on knowledge of past projects, customer requirements and signalling design principles.
• Support site activities such as surveys and investigations if the need for experts arises.
• Opportunity exists to support and learn about other hardware design domains within Hitachi Rail including trainborne, mechanical, networking, and power.

Job Description

You will Designs, troubleshoots software programmer for software enhancements and new products. Develop software tools including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determine hardware compatibility or influence hardware design.

You will report to Engineering manager and follow a Hybrid working schedule in Singapore.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will require a good background in communication protocol firmware development and real-time control systems.

• You will help design embedded software subsystems. These subsystems will increase and balance a variety of goals. The goals include run-time performance, memory requirements, simplicity, correctness, development time, effort, reusability, extendibility, reliability, and safety.

• You will need to maximise the reuse of existing internal or external software components to shorten the product development cycle.

• You will Have knowledge in Industrial Automation, PLC Programming

• You will Have Experience programming 32 bits Microcontroller (ARM) and developing low-level device driver.

• Industrial Communication Protocol: CIP, or EtherNet/IP

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Degree / master's in computer science/ Embedded Systems / Computer Engineering / Electrical Electronic Engineering with concentration in Embedded Software engineering

• Minimum 4+ years of experience developing Real-time Embedded Systems.

• Knowledge in programming language: C, C++

• You have certification in CERT Secure Coding in C and C++

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• You have Experience using different hardware-assisted debugging tools

• You have Experience of Agile process, static analysis tool and version control tools (e.g. ClearCase, Rational Team Concert) will be an advantage

• Open-minded, a willingness to experiment within acceptable boundaries.
