1. Centre Engagement

Programme and Residents management

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Programme Executive (Outreach and Engagement) works with their assigned centres to execute programmes to facilitate the interactions and engagement between the community and the clients/caregivers. He/ she works with the community partners and volunteers for these outreach and engagement programmes and guides the centre and volunteers in executing the programme activities. He/she also collaborates and establishes relationships with volunteers, grassroots organisations, and community partners to fulfil MINDS' vision of outreach and serving the unserved and underserved segment of the ID population in Singapore through the centre's operations. The Programme Executive is responsible for the planning, designing, coordination of activities and programmes promote the active participation, meaningful engagement and learning of clients from the Centre with the community partners and volunteers.  He/ she will work in close collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Allied Health Professionals such as the Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, physiotherapist, and/ or Speech Language Therapist, and Training Officers when designing the programmes. These programmes can be at the centre or outside of the centres.

Job Description

• Identify and develop sales opportunities for rock climbing programmes and events, including corporate bonding, team-building events, classes, and courses.

• Handle lead enquiries from over-the-counter, website, and other sources.

• Coordinate and manage programmes and events from planning to execution for all secured accounts.

• Work with Course Leads and Operations team to ensure operational viability and programme effectiveness.

• Conduct training for programme instructors and/or crew involved in programme execution.

• Prepare quotations, finalise contracts, and manage invoicing and payment follow-ups.

• Implement feedback to improve programme offerings.

• Develop and implement promotional strategies across online, offline, and referral channels.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, programme execution, and client accounts.

• Submit monthly sales reports and maintain a structured sales tracking system.

• Ensure counter resources and systems are properly set up for programmes brought in.

• Monitor effective use of RGP functions and maintain proper record keeping.

• Assist with equipment setup and teardown.

• Perform floor duties as Crew / Duty Officer when required (1–2 shifts per week, including weekends and PH).

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales and programme management (sports or fitness industry preferred).

Experience handling lead enquiries and managing client accounts.

Knowledge of rock climbing techniques, safety procedures, and equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Educate, counsel and obtain consent from donors on the donation process
• Coordinate pre-donation requirements, including but not limited to scheduling blood tests, packing blood kits, and arranging donor medical appointments
• Provide support to donors during the process of workup appointment, hospital admission and discharge, and donation follow-ups
• Collaborate with the Search and Transplantation Team, international stem cell registries, collection centres, laboratories, couriers, and government agencies to facilitate stem cell collection and transport
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of the donor stem cell collection process
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards, including those set by the World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA) and PDPC
• Support ad-hoc initiatives/projects, as assigned by the Donor Management Manager

Work Schedule: 3-4 days per week

Work Days: Includes Saturday (fixed working day) and Sunday (as required)

Provide planning, development, and implementation of key activities and initiatives aimed at building up the national donor pool as well as maintaining and growing our pool of dedicated volunteers. Working in close partnership with key stakeholders from Blood Services Group (BSG) and Singapore Red Cross (SRC), she/he will recruit, mobilise and engage eligible volunteers to support relevant public education (outreach activities such as roadshows, learning journeys, blood donation talks etc.), donor engagement, tele-recruitment, and blood-donation-related activities. In addition, the incumbent will engage educational institutions, corporate, government, and community organisations to educate, recruit, retain, and recognise blood donors while supporting in organising community blood drives and group donations to build the national blood supply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advocate on blood donation

● Undertake outreach and engagement activities towards expanding the donor pool (especially youths), including planning and organising roadshows, guided tours in the bloodbanks, blood donation talks etc

● Support in Conceptualising, planning and executing outreach activities to target audience (e.g members of public, students, staff) to raise awareness.

● Reach out to community partners (especially educational institutions) to arrange talks and learning journey to the bloodbanks.

● Handle the end-to-end programme management for all outreach activities and initiatives.

● Collaborate with partners and engage stakeholders for various initiatives.

● Work closely with the Head of Operations to develop and implement outreach strategies.

● Work closely with the operation team to engage internal and key stakeholders e.g educational institutions, corporate, government, and community organisations through outreach activities and initiatives to advocate on the National Blood Programme

● Work closely with the marketing team to develop collaterals, EDM, banners etc. for outreach activities and initiatives.

● Conduct relevant training to volunteers on blood donor recruitment to equip them with the relevant knowledge when volunteering for the outreach activities.

● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote blood donation and organise group donations at the bloodbanks.

● Undertake relevant administrative tasks, including but not limited to creating and maintaining volunteer and blood-drive records, updating SOPs and educational collateral etc.

● Assist in the planning for World Blood Donor Day 2026 event.

● Assist in the planning for National Blood Programme 80th Anniversary event.

● Prepare reports and provide prompt reporting to the management.

● Other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualifications:

• Diploma in any discipline

Experience:

• Candidate(s) with a history of relevant voluntary/internship experience will have an added advantage Required experience, skills, and knowledge.

• Demonstrated interest in the non-profit/charity sector.

• Familiarity with the blood donation landscape and donor behaviour in Singapore.

• Experience in project or event management will be advantageous.

• Ability to prioritise work responsibilities/multitask, organise own work schedule.

• Think on the feet, make decisions and carry out responsibilities without the need for direct supervision.

• Communicate, negotiate, and engage professionally and confidently with people from all walks of life.
