Responsibilities And Qualifications:
As part of our global Cloud Development team you will work on various components as a Software Engineer. Your role includes specification, development, testing and releasing of new features. The team owns the platforms throughout the lifecycle. You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our customers’ needs, business goals, product roadmap and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. You must have a proficient understanding of software development, security and the mechanisms to design safe, resilient and highly-available cloud native services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and manage services in public cloud.
• Develop safe, resilient and highly-available distributed services.
• Write technical specifications, work with several teams and manage technical dependencies and drive design meetings with various stakeholders for consensus.
• Collaborate with business software engineering teams on solving business problems via the architecture and engineering of cloud native applications.
• Engage with the larger Core Engineering organization to create and deliver usable, safe cloud native engineering patterns with associated guardrails and operational practices.
• Create, communicate, and promote best practices for public cloud native development across the firm.
• Partner with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure to shape the future of public cloud services for finance industry.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong technical ability, willingness to learn and evolve your skills with advances in technology.
• Bachelors' or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and testing software in one or more of Java, Type Script, Python; open to using and learning multiple languages.
• Expertise with Linux, containers, system security and automation with scripting languages.
• Experience architecting, designing, administering, or developing applications in Amazon Web Services.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both written and orally, as well as the interpersonal skills required to collaborate effectively with colleagues across diverse technology teams.
• Ability to reason about performance, security, and process interactions in complex distributed systems.
• Ability to understand and effectively debug both new and existing solutions.
• Ability to independently deliver on Product Roadmap, Operational Stability and Execution Strategy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Advanced Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of work experience with Typescript, Java, Python and AWS.
• Knowledge and experience of software development lifecycle and infrastructure-as-code tooling, such as Cloud Formation, Terraform,  and AWS CDK.
• Experience with security, isolation and multi-tenant design of distributed cloud services.
• Familiarity with software artifact and container image lifecycle management and governance.
• Understanding of RESTful API design best practices and experience in developing them.
• Familiarity with cloud network architectures and the integration with hybrid cloud networking.
• Experience with Server-less platforms such as AWS Lambda, AWS Batch etc.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and support the design, coordination, and execution of Low Voltage (LT), Switchgear and High Voltage (HV) systems for construction and infrastructure projects.

The role ensures all engineering works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design review and implementation of LT/HV electrical systems and switchgear
• Review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load calculations and protection coordination
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with Singapore standards (EMA, SS, IEC) and project requirements
• Support technical evaluation of equipment, vendors and subcontractors
• Mentor junior engineers and support capability development

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 6–10 years of relevant experience in M&E / construction projects
• Strong hands-on experience in LT, HV systems and switchgear
• Familiar with testing and commissioning processes
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification

• Programme Development & Delivery
  • Translate Ministry of Education and university talent priorities into structured programme frameworks, delivery models, and clear operating processes to support consistent delivery and RIE2030 reporting needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end strategy, governance, and delivery of innovation & entrepreneurship talent development programmes, such as overseas and local internships, student venture capital training and for-credit courses, for delivery readiness.
  • Lead curriculum design, student selection cycles and stakeholder inputs to deliver high quality learning outcomes and participant experience.
  • Develop outreach and communications efforts (internal marketing, briefings, and collateral) to increase programme awareness and student participation across regional and global ecosystems.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with university policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Track programme metrics (inputs, outcomes, feedback) and prepare regular updates and post-programme reports for programme leadership and management decision-making.
• Student Leadership & Club Development
  • Lead the review and execution of a revised student club engagement and empowerment model.

  • Lead budget planning and financial management across training programmes, ensuring transparent and optimal utilisation of grants, donations, and sponsorships in line with institutional standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Ecosystem Partnerships
  • Manage day-to-day engagement with internal and external stakeholders (students, faculty, industry partners, investors, sponsors, ecosystem organisations), ensuring timely follow-ups and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and consolidate briefs, proposals, partnership updates, and presentation materials for programme directorates and senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor relevant innovation and entrepreneurship trends and share practical insights to support programme planning and engagement approaches.
  • Identify and steward a portfolio of internal and external partnerships spanning students, faculty, industry partners, investors, sponsors, and ecosystem organisations.

• Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate qualification and specialization in education, business, and/or related fields preferred.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in education, training programmes, innovation ecosystems, or related domains, with senior level responsibility.
• Strong interest in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, with awareness of key industry trends and ecosystem players.
• Knowledge and experience in experiential learning / talent development programme design and delivery
• Working knowledge of budgeting, grant administration and financial management principles (including reporting requirements and controls).
• Effective project management and organisational skills—able to plan, track, and deliver multiple workstreams under tight timelines.
• Internal and external stakeholder management skills, with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
