We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to manage the full procurement cycle for an electronics manufacturing operation. Role Description:

This Senior Procurement Executive will be based in Singapore and report to Procurement Manager. He or She needs to support our internal stakeholders, enabling operations to meet key organisational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day procurement operations in accordance with Procurement policies.
• Liaise with business units and divisions to keep track of procurement data and activity in order to meet operational requirements.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate contracts, pricing, credit terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality and delivery performance.
• Responsible for the procurement and supplier management of raw materials for garment production.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and sustainability requirements.
• Monitor procurement spending aligns with budget targets and operational needs.
• Identify information and documentation required for approval of the purchase requisition and advise end-users accordingly.
• Perform invoices matching to match supplier’s invoices with supporting documents such as PO & DO.
• Maintain supplier database and update supplier list.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the procurement process and efficiency.
• Assist HOD in ensuring all services and works are conducted in compliance with company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls, and legal requirements.
• Other ad-hoc initiatives and projects may be assigned.

Specifications/Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills):

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/Procurement or equivalent.
• 5 years of procurement experiences or similar position in a manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge procurement best practices and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Meticulous, self-driven and independent.
• Experience in ERP System will be an added advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Carry out end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, RFQs, price negotiations, shipping coordination, and delivery follow-ups.
• Evaluate and procure materials, components, and equipment based on MRP requirements.
• Follow up and expedite material deliveries with vendors to align with production schedules, and address any delays or rescheduling needs.
• Collaborate closely with supply chain planning teams to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory levels and regularly review stocking parameters as defined by management.
• Coordinate with logistics providers on shipment bookings, tracking, and customs clearance procedures.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance in quality, timely delivery, and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including vendor setup, database updates, and matching/submitting of PO, delivery notes, and invoices to Finance.
• Handle return merchandise authorization (RMA) and non-conforming items (NCT) with suppliers.
• Implement and support cost-saving initiatives and procurement efficiency plans.
• Interpret and analyze Bills of Materials (BOM) to support procurement and planning needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in any fields
• Minimum 1-2 years of purchasing experience in contract manufacturer companies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words and Excel)
• Good Communication, negotiation, problem solving and sourcing skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
