• Develop, monitor and analyze Customer Service Key Performance Indicators (i.e. Quality Promise) for the Areas and drive / provide recommendations for improvement measures.
• Support the improvement of customer defined benchmarks in the Areas.
• Support the regional Customer Service management with the implementation of process improvements/changes.
• Ensure timely information for Areas in regard to trade specific requirements and restrictions.
• Define and develop Quality promises and Digital targets, including customers in cooperation / consultation with the Areas Support of documentation management and processes linked to documentation performance.
• Ensure Area’s receive appropriate technical performance and customer service training.
• Provide regular recognition and constructive feedback to Areas as and when required.
• Ensure Hapag-Lloyd’s day to day customer service transactions are handled in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Continually review and upgrade procedures to enhance the level of service provided to external and internal customers. Promote work process simplification initiatives.
• Implement standards and procedures to ensure Areas are providing timely, accurate and courteous responses to customer’s inquiries.
• Assist Area staff in solving problems by providing facilitation, support and arranging appropriate training.

Qualification:

• Tertiary education, preferably in Business/Commerce with excellent working experience in Customer Service required.
• Knowledge of HL Business Systems / Process knowledge and experience required.
• Good project management skills with emphasis on successful project completion.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Ability to develop solutions together with internal parties.
• Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills.
• Strong Communications.

What You'll Do:

As a Centre Manager at Mind Stretcher, you will work closely with the cluster manager and other student care teachers to run the daily operations of a centre, be involved with parental engagement, and manage delivery and quality of the curriculum on a day-to-day basis.

Key Responsibilities: 

Operations Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the centre including monitoring and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with operational requirements. 

• Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.

• Ensure the quality of student care services, including academic support, recreational activities, and meal services.

• Manage the center's facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained, safe, and conducive for all  activities.

Parent Engagement:

• Foster, maintain regular and positive communication with parents or guardians, providing updates on student progress, addressing concerns, and fostering a collaborative relationship.

• Respond promptly to parent inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive and collaborative relationship.

• Plan and organize parent engagement events, workshops, and meetings to enhance parental involvement in the student care community. 

• Collaborate with parents to address their feedback and suggestions.

• Use feedback to make continuous improvements and enhance parent satisfaction.

Administration Task:

• Recruit, train, and supervise centre staff, including tutors and student care teachers. 

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

• Manage the budget for the student care center, including expenses related to staffing, supplies, and facilities.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, enrollment, and other relevant data.

• Oversee the enrollment process, including admissions, registration, and orientation for new students. 

• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the student care center and attract new enrollments.

Other duties:

• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Reporting officer. 

About you:

• Possess minimally Diploma in Early Childhood, Diploma in Care and Programme, or a related field  (Candidates without a Diploma but with relevant experience may apply). 

• Minimum 4 years of working experience in Preschool / Student Care environment with a track record of managing teams.

• Proficient in basic productivity tools i.e., MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and unstructured environment.

• Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with parents, staff, and the broader community. 

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing student care centers.
